    I read this book in one sitting. And yes, it was that good! I love being back in Oak Creek with the Linear Tactical team, their friends, and family. Baby is Finn and Wavy Bollinger's brother and the town's famous mechanic. Quinn Harrison is Boy Riley (Phoenix)'s half sister, who we met briefly hear about in the end of Phoenix's book. Baby (aka Blake Bollinger) and Quinn's story is fantastic and I love love love the ending!! Its heartwarming, heartbreaking at times, and suspenseful- everything I love in a book. I loved how they seemed to instantly have a connection that turned into so much passion for each other. You get see how they both help each other overcome personal obstacles. The LT women gave Quinn the infamous girl’s night and I love that so much! I don't want to give anything away so if you are on the fence about reading this book, just go right ahead and one click or get it on KU. You will not regret it! If you haven't read any of the other Linear Tactical books, you need to because you are missing out!!!

    Janie Crouch has added yet another excellent romantic suspense novel! Baby, brings the Linear Tactical family together again! It's inspiring to focus on Blake who is gifted in remarkable ways, and watch him grow! The confidence he gains through his relationship with Quinn is paralleled by her emergence into a strong woman free to live!
    While the suspense was outlandish, it's very creative and compelling! That plot line seemed to be more than coincidence, and seemed obvious early on!
    The strength and resiliency of Quinn and Baby is incredible and the love it engenders is heart warming! This moving story is delightful and thought provoking!
    The age difference was a non factor for the couple and the readers, but was a different element from other novels of the genre!
    A worthy addition to the series! While not my favorite, is made a nice addition to the extended family at Linear Tactical!
    Janie, not sure why the bonus Epilogue was not the original epilogue!
    Can't wait for Redwood! Gavin and Lexi have some "splaining to do"!

    I've, so far, kept up with reading the Linear Tactical series, and of course Baby is part of that series, although not "officially" Linear Tactical. That's ok, because he's still amazing. And the more I read this book, the more it opened my eyes.

    I don't want to say too much about the plot to this book, at least not in any detail, because I stopped reading the reviews when I purchased this book so I didn't know what was going to happen. It is no fun at all to read a book and all the surprises are laid out in the reviews. So I was reading this without a lot of knowledge about what the story was about.

    Wow. There are so many details in this book that made me stop and think. There are social issues that were handled brilliantly. There were personal issues that were handled the same.

    The reason I keep reading Janie Crouch is because she treats her characters well. She builds them from the ground up and makes sure all the pieces fit together and make sense. I don't believe she works very hard on this because the more I've read her books, the more I think she's able to create and grow these characters with love.

    I can tell you that I rarely cry when reading, but in a couple of places I found myself sniffling in sympathy. That doesn't happen often, but when it does, I know the author has hit the home run they wanted. Baby might be the longest book in the Linear Tactical series, but it may be the one I like the most. I like it when authors aren't afraid to put their characters in situations that might defeat lesser men and women. Those characters are made strong so that they can fight back against their problems.

    Do I recommend this book? Hell yes. You'll get more out of it if you read the rest of the Linear Tactical series first, but because Baby is so very much is own man, it will also be strong as a stand-alone. To the author, thank you, this one was definitely one I was glad to read.
