The Ninth Realm: A LitRPG Fantasy series (The Ten Realms Book 11) Kindle Edition
Avegaaren Academy. Where heroes compete, legends are born and the heart of the Imperium’s might.
Erik and Rugrat’s abilities will be pushed to the limit, honing their skills and allowing them to grow in new ways, ways they might not have thought of before.
They stand to gain more than simple strength, and more power.
Here they might learn the purpose of the realms, how it was formed, why it was formed and the three races that weaved their fates together against the darkness.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Great series that is filled with action and a well thought out alternate world. Well worth expending the time to read. Cannot wait for what happens in the 10th realm! Keith R. Huntoon
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Phenomenally good. Every bit as good as the rest of the series. I have no idea how he does it. Another wonderful read. Trevor Mccue
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - None stop action with an entire perspective shift. Can not wait for the next one, although the greedy side of me hopes for a longer next realm. Devin Harding
With over 1.5 Million Books Sold, the Ten Realms series by international bestseller Michael Chatfield is sure to scratch that LitRPG itch.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2024Like all the books this one is great. Unfortunately it feels like the author is in a rush to finish and the story reflects that in its pacing. Most of this series is 500 to 700 pages, but the last 3 don't even break 300.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2022***Some may consider spoilers***
I really enjoyed this book. It REALLY felt like the older books in the series and really moved the story along. We got to see growth, and learned the WHY of A LOT (secrets/origins of the Realms, WHY there can be such power discrepancies despite similar stats/constitutions, etc) and I really enjoyed overall developments with Eric and Rugrat.
So, what kept it from 5 stars? Felt rushed...
There was SOOOOO much that could have been fleshed out a little more. Not just plot-wise, but some of the fluff, too. Yeah, I know people complain about fluff, but going into the 11th book of a series, many of us are here FOR the fluff as much as furthering the plot.
Many of us WANT to know more about Rekha; about her interactions; about how she and her team mesh with other students and Eric and Rugrat.
We WANT to know more about Kay’Renna and other elves; of her story and how she meshes with other adventures as well as more with how she interacts with Rugrat and Eric.
We WANT to see more Deliliah and more Storbon.
We want to see more of how the empire is functioning.
It is my hope that the next book (maybe 9th pt 2?) has so much more fluff similar to, at least, the first few books of the series, if not the huge amount involving the 6th and 7th realms.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2022This series is phenomenal, from the minute I read the first in the series (Two Week Curse), I've been hooked. Michael is a magnificent storyteller and writer. The characters bloom to life in your head and capture your interest immediately. And as you devour each book you can't wait for the next. I've never read a LitRPG before, but thanks to Michael Chatfield, a whole new genre has been opened. YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO READ THIS SERIES!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2022I have devoured each book as they have come out, this one I read in 2 days. Now I have to wait again for more. This series is hands down the best LitRPG series out there. The magic system and crafting all are well thought out and make sense to this nerdy engineer. The characters are well developed and well written. I guess I’ll need to start from the beginning.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2025It turns out that the Ninth Realm is just a stepping stone to get to the Tenth Realm... and what a step it is. Erik and Rugrat go back to school to relearn how to fight. Starting from the ground up and getting rid'a their bad habits, to fight with fluidity to utilize all their skills into one quick motion. And wow the end just comes rushing at'cha. Making it a must for me to rush into the Tenth Realm.
Which is zactly what I'm gonna do. And you will too, once you've finished The Ninth Realm!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2023Eric & Rugrat finally make it to the nineth realm, but problems always follow them. They find a teacher who they learn to fight, but in secret. The right way. But the academy teachers & students think they are fakes because they are never seen other than the monthly challenges and spending time in the library.
War comes from the Shattered Realm and then they are fighting for their lives.
Great read!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2022I am absolutely not a fantasy reader.
I'm just not. I didn’t get this one.
Readability.. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Content and storyline..(not sure it's good or bad) but not interesting to me..🌟
Characters..a lot of them to remember..🌟🌟
Violence and battles/fighting..🌟🌟🌟
Let me explain...
This story was completely confusing for me, because:
1) this is part of a series, that needs to be read in order. I started here. My mistake.
2) I have no frame of reference about relms, levels, and what this fight is truly about.
and 3) there are too many characters and factions to keep track of, for me.
I read this book as part of a challenge, and my comments should not discourage you from buying this, as long as you have already enjoyed the previous stories in the series. (And you read and enjoy fantasy books.)
I didn't and I don't.
That is certainly Not the fault of this author!! That’s on me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional
Again, you did an excellent job! I love the universe you created here! The characters are so fleshed out. I love them all. My heart breaks when any one of them dies. I cry and laugh in equal measure. I do love reading this series. I'll be sad when it ends. This series will go into the rare few that I reread many times over. In the ranks of will wright, robert jordan, tolkein and a couple of web serials. Like beware of chicken and mother of Learning.

Another great page Turner. Couldn't lay the book down and can't wait to see what happens next. One of the best series ever

5.0 out of 5 stars We see the end finally
The long journey arrive finally to the end. Has been a pleasant journey but some of the novels weren't exceptional. If author could've written the series cutting two books probably the results would have been better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another enjoyable read
I enjoyed the book alot, the use of timeskips to avoid repetitive training chapters was nice and keot the story flowing. We got to meet some new interesting characters and see some existing ones grow.
There is alot more focus on our duo main characters this book than some of the more recent realm books but that just makes the few other scenes more interesting.
Only odd flaw with this book was the seemingly easily spotted proof reading errors - some words had just missing letters or had numbers in the word e.g. 1Hey instead of they. I did report these errors when i saw them so hopefully they will be fixed for future readers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging and fast paced
There only complain i have is that the book is short. While it's better than going all over the place and making a mess of the narrative. It feels like there could be far more body to the story.
