Meh

Story is ok but writing and narration are uninspired. This author offers no real excitement or imagination.

Good Series Starter

I enjoyed the story. Didn’t guess the ending so that is always a win. ‘Wade’s’ accent is hard to listen to though….I’m a Southerner & from Georgia & the narrator doesn’t do a very good job with it. Other than that, I enjoy these books very much.

Never finished this book

It started out getting my attention but got boring pretty quick. I held on until the last few chapters then gave up.
Also, the narration could have been a lot better. The female voice was ok but I found Parker’s voice to be too dramatic and annoying. I can’t tell you if the ending got any better because I never made it there.

Narrator

Very unimpressed with the narrator, she made Miranda sound like a man and Parker sound like an old woman. Figured out who did it as soon as the character was mentioned, but overall an enjoyable story.

Great Murder Mystery

This book is well written, well developed with interesting, informative and believable characters. It is a great who done it book that kept you going and trying to guess who did it, until the end you don't know and it is fast paced. The narration is perfect and it draws you in and maintains a steady pace that keeps your interrst and keeps you wondering. I highly recommend this book.

Turning up the heat in Vegas.

This is Miranda’s first foray into her, and Parker’s, consulting business. They’ve been hired by one of Parker’s first trainees, now an LVPD homicide detective. A well known singer has been found murdered and the case is not as cut and dry as Detective O’Toole would like. As alway, we enjoy the partnership between Miranda and Parker...he smooths her rough edges. Great story.
