Oh my heart! All of you lovers of sweet, clean and cute romance...this is a must read for you! I could not stop grinning while I was reading this one. I even got done and wanted to start it over again. My oldest daughter is starting it too and she's loving it! Definitely one that I highly recommend.

This is the beginning of a new series, the Miscellaneous Royalty, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else Lorin Grace has in store for us readers in the following books. If you've read her other books then you'll recognize Zoe and Nick in this one. The main character Gina is friends with Zoe and Nick and heads to Paris with them.

I can't say enough about Andre! Oh my! Maybe it was the french accent (ok, it was mostly in my head-Ha!), maybe it was his goodness, maybe it was his care for his grandma, maybe it was his gentlemanly manners, maybe it was his attraction to Gina...or probably it was a combination of all of those. Andre absolutely stole the book for me! *le sigh*

Anytime Gina and Andre had scenes together I was glued to the pages...ok, who am I kidding? I was glued to the pages the whole book! The setting and descriptions definitely added such a great depth to the story as well. If you want a bookcation to Paris, you'll get it within these pages.

Andre's family are pretty big in the fashion industry. It was really neat to read about the ins and outs of design and turning designs into clothing (especially dresses). In college, one of my roommates was an amazing seamstress. She worked for a couple different bridal dress stores and sewed wedding dresses (really any type of dress or clothing). She would bring home these beautiful materials and in no time have this amazing dress (or matching dresses) cut out and sewn. It was amazing. After college she moved back East and worked for some design companies. She would help take a sketch and turn it into patterns and clothing. So to watch my roommate doing that then to read about it on a bigger scale was fun, and the memories it brought back were great too! I love sewing and have made many items of clothing but definitely not attempting to sew wedding dresses and beading and everything else it entails.

Gina's sense of humor was so refreshing. I loved the way she felt real and the connection that I felt with her really added to my love of this book. I keep thinking about different scenes and smiling/sighing to myself. Like the one where Gina meets Andre, or where she meets his grandma. Oh, or the one where she gets to be measure at the fashion house, or the Mona Lisa scene, or the cupids, or the crepes (ok that's also in another scene I mentioned), or several other moments that just were fabulous! Loved it!!! (if you couldn't tell) ;-)

Grab a copy and get ready for the next book in the series! They're gonna be great!

Content: Clean.

My own personal copy.

Happy Reading!!!

I enjoyed this book. Miss Guided and the Billionaire is book one in the Misadventures in Love series. My only regret is that I wish I had known about “Mending Words with The Billionaire” prior to reading this story. The two main characters from Mending appear quite frequently throughout this book, and at times I felt a little lost. I’m going to be sure and go back to read Mending before I proceed further in this series. This is a sweet romance with a few kisses.

Good writing, good characters (I loved the grandmother so much!) and an all-around good read. Going to read the next one in the series ASAP.
I feel a little bad because I should have been doing other things instead of reading but I couldn’t stop with this story...

Loved it until...

I was so excited to see this new series built off of the artists and billionaires I've enjoyed so much. And it was a little low key, but I was enjoying it. Until.

SPOILER ALERT
Gina overhears in French something that sounds like Andre killed his wife. She knows she's only hearing fragments of conversation, she knows her French is weak so she's not getting it all, but she's going to believe that without question anyway? Nope. Nobody would.

Then the aggressive female that she already knows has been stalking Andre for years, and that he has no interest in, kisses Andre and Gina decides based on almost no evidence at all (and what evidence she does have is circumstantial at best) that Andre is a player & a murderer who can't be trusted.

I was completely jolted out of the story in disbelief. I don't understand it - I've enjoyed so many books by Lorin Grace & never encountered anything that was so awkwardly contrived.

Nothing in Gina's story supports her incredibly bizarre level of mistrust. I'm not sure anything could. Poor Andre deserves better.

Everything else about the story was decent, including the happily-ever-after, but that one point of the story severely undercut my enjoyment of the whole.

Clean romance level: sweet kisses

A delightful, well-written and sweet Cinderella romance, this contemporary novel combines a number of romantic concepts, not least of which is the glass slipper. When Gina’s workaholic habits get in the way of doing her job efficiently, her boss orders her on compulsory leave. Being a fellow sufferer of Gina’s condition, I was able to identify with the heroine and the difficulties she had navigating her world when her condition struck. Having briefly met Gina in New York under extremely embarrassing conditions, André was surprised to find her struggling to navigate the pavements of Paris. Nevertheless he went to her aid and as a result, the mild attraction he felt for her in NYC is fanned into flames. André’s grandmother immediately recognises the connection between them and between her and her faithful housekeeper, the two old ladies play cupid to a modern day couple with all the conniving and manipulation learned over a century of living. The story has heartbreak and betrayal, grief and guilt, but most of all it has romance and the beauty of Paris in springtime. I received a copy of this delightful romance as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

This was a great story. I loved how hard Gina worked, but she worked herself into a mandatory vacation. She literally runs into a young man while out with her friends. Hard to believe that she literally runs into the same man in Paris, France. Andre is a hard working young man that has lost his passion for his work and he is being pressured by his family to take over the family business. After running into Gina, Andre has found his inspiration and starts creating again. Andre's grandmother is a great secondary character that adds the right amount of matchmaking and humor to the story. Gina enjoys her visit in Paris and loved meeting Andre's grandmother. The couple has a lot going against them including their pasts and living on different continents. I enjoyed watching the romance bloom between this couple. I would recommend this to anyone that loves finding love in unexpected places. I received a copy of this book. This is my honest and voluntary review.

I love the premise of this Miscellaneous series. The title of this book is fun and intriguing-Miss Guided is clever word usage. This is a cute, quick-read, clean romance.
I liked Gina though her rigid planning kind of drove me a little crazy. Andre was a bit swoon worthy. But Elinore is my favorite character in the book. She reminds me of my little neighbor lady who was 101 when she died. Full of spunk and life.
This story could be turned into a Hallmark movie. And you could say it is something of a Cinderella story. The only thing I didn't like was the Cinderella moment of Gina running away. It was almost too cliche. But there had to be that moment of conflict right? It is an enjoyable read.

No sex, language or violence.

A wonderful story about bucket lists, Paris, a fashion house, and finding love like Cinderella. The characters are so realistic and charming. Gina is ordered by her boss to take a two week vacation as she is getting ocular migraines which are affecting her sight. She runs into Andre while in Paris and the two start seeing each other.
Andre's grandmother is so sweet. The former fashion designer is turning 100 and she is playing cupid with Gina and Andre.
This riveting story held my attention until I had finished the book. What more could you want than a sexy, French leading man, a beautiful American woman, fashion, and the sights of Paris to fall in love. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

New York, Paris, fabulous clothing and shoes: what's not to love? In this new story from Lorin Grace readers get a chance to follow Gina, a character from Grace's series Artists and Billionaries. Gina is under pressure at work and in serious need of a vacation. Enter Zoe, her friend and former co-worker, who encourages Gina to take a bucket list trip to Paris. Gina is hesitant but decides why not spend some time in a city she's longed to visit. While there Gina experiences art, food and an unexpected encounter with fabulous fashion. It doesn't hurt that she also meets the handsome and charming Andre. With great descriptions of Paris fashion, a fun and totally relatable main character and whimsical retelling of Cinderella, Lorin Grace has the beginning of another great series.

This is the first book I have read written by this author and I can guarantee you there will be more! I loved the reality of the characters personalities, their humanity, their misunderstandings and their love. Yes Andre is a billionaire but Gina is anything but and these two main characters stumble their way through getting to know and love one another even though they encounter challenges both in themselves and the outside world along the way. I would happily recommend this book to all who enjoy and sweet romance with an HEA! I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a review.

Such a fun theme for a new series. I'm excited to see what other Misses we'll meet. Gina is a strong independent woman and I love that she travels around Paris on her own. I don't know if I would do that. Andre is wonderful and charming and so sweet with Gina. I loved how he cared for her. Her grandma and Marie are a lot of fun too. I also loved seeing Zoe and Nick Gooding again from the Artists and Billionaires series. I loved that series, so it was fun to have them play secondary characters in this book. This was a great start to a new series and I'm excited for what comes next.

I absolutely loved this book. Gina was such a down to earth woman, who is in her thirties and has decided love might not be for her so she throws herself into her job. Working 60+ hours..
Andre has also thrown herself into his work. He is dealing with guilt and the constant pull of his father to come back to the family business.
These two together are sweet. The story flows well and who wouldn't want a grandmother like Elsinore?
I need to read Zoe and Nick's story.
I'll definitely be reading this author again.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review

Miss Guided and the Billionaire is a delight to read! Gina and Andre are both likable characters that make a great couple. Andre's grandmother may be turning 100, but she's still got some tricks up her sleeve. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and highly recommend it to clean/wholesome romance readers. I'm looking forward to more of this series. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this pleasurable read.

This is a fun new series by Ms. Grace. A New York to Paris trip to take a break from her job -- Gina was told to take a vacation, so she flew to Paris with Nick and Zoe. Andre' is a very likeable character as well. I like how we see some of the characters from Artists and Billionaires series. Great story and I love the title and am looking forward to other "Miss" stories.

Gina is working to much and is essentially forced to go on vacation by her health and her boss. A friend encourages her to go to Paris, which is on Gina’s bucket list. She meets André who is a member of a famous design house in Paris.
This is a sweet story. Gina runs away when she hears some negative things and Andre comes after her, so a bit of a Cinderella vibe to the story.

A spin-off of sorts from the Artists and Billionaires series, you get the same combination of romance with an element of humor, well told story with good pacing, and likeable characters you can root for. Looking forward to more.

Andre and Gina bump into each other more than once. Loved his grandmother - one smart, sly lady. A tale of two people who fall quickly but one of them is a little afraid. Loved the ending. A really sweet romance with a story of family trials.

This is a sweet romance with a Cinderella type story. The author brings a realistic story with strong characters and brings two opposites in class getting to know each other and falling in love. It's well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

Endearing is the best description for MISGUIDED

Gina is super cute, Andre much too sensible, Elinor is my favourite character. The writing is sound but the author rushes her novels to the ending. I don't know if she has idiots for editors or is running out of words?? One day I hope to get the unabridged version of her romance stories.
