- Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2019Wren, Rico, and the rest of the crew take on the Queen of Dark Witches. This story continues to add meat and flesh to the entire PPD world. The characters are multifaceted and interesting. The story speeds along from start to finish. New imagery is created with phrases like “cabbage soaking in diaper fudge”. Visceral, compelling imagery. The story is guffaw-worthy and full of the trademark Logsdon snark. Even Dr. Mel makes a cameo appearance...I beg your pardon! Fun read!!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2019In the 3rd book of the series we find Wren has become even more of a team member in the New Orleans PPD. Mardi Gras is coming and the Dark Witch in book 2 is back and on the warpath. Just wait til you get a load of the Cyclops she creates ! We get even more of Rico and his sarcasm and his extremely accurate aim when pooping. What's more Wren's previous outlaw band has integrated with the N.O.P.P.D. and is working with them hand in hand at destroying the Dark Witch. Joining this struggle we see Wren team up with a dark witch to help Wren learn to control the Dark Magic she received from the Knowledge (See book 2 for how that happened.) So who will win in this battle between good and evil ? Will New Orleans be standing in the aftermath of the battle ? Will Rico hit the Dark Witch with a load of bird doody ? Will the dark witch turn on Wren and go over to the Dark Side ? Will everyone on the team survive the battle and the burning question ! Will Wren and Chief Lambert get together for some office romancing ? Want to find out ? Read the book. Awesome continuation of the N.O.P.P.D. series as we watch Wren go from outlaw to Good Guy!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2019Wren Cooper finds this out the hard way as she fights to defeat the Queen of the Dark Witches, who managed to syphon off most of the dark Knowledge that had infected Wren and transformed her into her true dark witch self. As she races against the clock, she finds some major surprises among her former crew of thieves. It turns out, Wren might not be the biggest, scariest thing on that team after all... Grab your copy and find out if Wren can wrestle her own dark side into submission while she tries to stop the Dark Witch from taking over her town!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great PPD series
This series is about Wren Cooper who as a sneak thief is an unlikely ally to the New Orleans PPD, as are her colleagues from the Guild, but they all work well together for a common goal. The first book Venom Scourge was good then the second book Rabid Curse took it up to a whole new level and amazingly this third installment in Corrupted Coven managed to level it up again! This Paranormal Police Department series is based in New Orleans and is based in the same world as, but still works if you haven't read, the Ian Dex series which started with The Merging. The great storyline is there from the start and the team, including a sarcastic raven and all sorts of supernaturals, are all the better for being fun and neither perfect nor pc. There is a great mixture of humour, action and storyline in this third book of another addictive series which kept me wanting to read more even though I knew I had to get up early for work in the morning?! I have been enjoying the development of all of the PPD series and can’t wait for more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read
This series just gets better and better. A great finale to the three book arc sees Wren, and all her friends come together to overcome and finally beat the dark witch. With plenty of surprises along the way this book has plenty to keep you reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars What an Ending
A final showdown and a final reckoning for the dark witches.
More battles, more surprises and more suspense this is the best yet and a fitting end to this Arc for Wren and the PPD team of cops and Thiefs.
Roll on more Wren

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth a read.
Really loved this book. Wren is coming into her own. Can't wait to see what trouble Vile gets up to, she is a great character. Lots of action through the story to keep your attention right to the end. Truly good read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Wren is one of my favourite PPD characters.
This series is well written, extremely well thought out and the characters are great.
I hope we get more books inline with these characters as I can see so many possibilities for them all.
