Things are about to get bloody...

Bethany Black has had enough.

Baudelaire has ramped up her tactics, doing everything she can to rip the city a new hole. The mob's continued efforts to perfect the Blood Claw is paying dividends. The Hunter keeps trying to drive a knife between Bethany's crew and their ability to put an end to the mayhem.

And Bethany's pixie pain-in-the-ass partner looks like he might have deeper connections into the mob than anyone had ever guessed.

All in a day's pay at the New York Paranormal Police Department.

With the Blood Claw spell nearing perfection, the amalgamation of goblin and weretiger has gone rampant. Translation: the citizens of New York may soon be taking their final breaths.

Bethany can't allow that. Even though it'll likely kill her and the crew of the PPD, they have to risk everything to stop the madness.

Death is coming, and her name is Bethany Black...

Sir Pickle-pale and mysterious

Sir Pickle is becoming one of my favorite characters in the New York PPD. Bethany is a full on New Yorker with a jaded cop attitude but always on the side of lawfulness with secrets from her past she isn’t even aware she has. Lots of action some naughty jokes (of course from the Pixie).

Bethany Black and Max are at it again. Mobgoblins and wizards are fighting, the "Deadly Claw" is still out there, the Junker is still running with a snack of "slugs" and could there be a traitor among them? Bethany is shaken when a trusted officer leads her on a traitorous path and she her fellow PPD officers, Graham and Fay are convinced. Max is playing games with the enemy and Bethany is dragged along. There is fast action, violence possible betrayal, questions with no answers. Beloved friends getting hurt in battle, goblins being made into tigers and cliff hangers that leave you panting for the next in this series. I am not sure I can wait. Maybe I will have to be a stalker and peek over the authors's shoulders...or I will have to be like all the other fans of this series and wait for the next enthralling book to come out. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.

This latest in the NYPPD series is a great addition to an already great series. Bethany is a very interesting character, and she and her partner Max are up to their usual hijinks. This time, however, there might be dissension and betrayal amongst the ranks, but the claw needs to be found before it is too late. I just love this series with its non-stop action and fun. If you need an enjoyable couple of hours to forget your real life, this book is a great way to do that! I highly recommend this book and was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.

It's a Ware of a Read

It seems BB can't go anywhere without some big bad doing something to NY, and this time the fallout has now allowed for a new Mob Boss to enact their plan. They have now began to unleash creatures that might prove too much to handle for the beleagured PPD including BB.
This will reveal more of BBs history and further forces at play allowing for a great continuation of our best Ware Series.
Expected strong performance and engaging page turner makes it a must have for my collection.

Bethany Black continues to be one of my favorite heroines. She is strong, shrewd, and deadly to the criminals of New York. Deadly Claws is my favorite Bethany Black story yet! Bethany is becoming a force to be reckoned with as she races to save the city. There are many surprises in this book that will catch you off guard and will leave you unable to put the book down until you have finished it. This book is amazing!

The stakes become lethal for BB and Max while they try to catch up to the antics of Baudelaire, the mob with its mystery boss, and The Hunter. The Blood Claw spell has become more effective, unleashing a new type of goblin/tiger hybrid. The crew doesn't even know what to call them, much less how to handle them. With action, twists, turns, and betrayals, nothing is what it seems for the NY PPD. An entertainingly crazy journey.

Bethany Black, Weretiger NYPPD officer extraordinaire, and her pint-sized pixie partner, Max Shakespeare are back in the newest installment from Ben Zackheim and John Logsdon's PPD series. Bethany must race to save the city all while trying to determine who she can trust, and who will ultimately betray her and her squad. And then there's that little sidebar of the very nature of who and what she is being unraveled as well. Hang on tight, this one is a wild ride!

Continuing on from Savage Claws relationships are put to the test and not everything is as straight-forward as it seemed.
I didn't think it was possible for this storyline to get any better but they proved me wrong. Whatever your reading tastes the PPD has something for everybody. Don't miss out.

The authors just keep delivering great books that I really look forward to reading. Great plots. Great characters. What more can a reader ask for besides more books.

Okay, that's a freaking ride. Bethany is learning more about being a NYPPD officer and while she's not liking the games she's having to play, she's beginning to understand why she's playing them.
There's a nesting doll of mysteries and even at the end I am still hanging by the seat of my pants!!!

Grand adventure, snarky dialogue, and a sentient car... what more could you ask for? Bethany and Max are awesome as always. Bob and Lou are slightly more helpful idiots. And so much is revealed that I'm dying for the next one!

Bethany Black is one of my favourite PPD characters along with her rather unusual car, Junker. Her loyalty is tested to the limit and although some questions are answered there is a lot more to explore in the world of weretigers - I can't wait to read the next one!

Bethany is on a roll

Bethany is still working the tiger claw case. She and her pixie partner, Max, are getting closer to finding out who the Big Bad is.

I am really enjoying this series, and each book gets better. Can't wait for the next one

BB and Max continue to bicker their way through the deadly world of goblins and wizards as they try to save NYC from a new breed of mutants. This book continues our journey into the life of one of the last two genuine weretigers as she battles against the forces of evil. Can't wait for the next installment of the Bethany Black series.
