Publisher's summary

Mine to protect. Mine to claim... She is mine.

Dante

I'm a trained assassin. Enlisted by the Fae Corps and instructed to kill, there is no place in my life for a fated mate. Then Gia crashes into my life. Flashing eyes, luscious lips that beg to be kissed. One whiff of her sugary scent and I know she is mine. But she's human, and no way can she withstand the barbaric mating practices of the Fae. I am too lethal. I should stay away.

When she takes the hit meant for my target, I cannot let her die. So I do the only thing that will save her life...I form a soul-bond with the unconscious human. I want to make her bend to my will. I hadn't reckoned with craving her emotions, her feelings. Her love...

When she breaks out of my lair, I will do anything to get her back. This time I will make her submit her all.... This time she cannot escape. Gia is mine.

Note: Stolen by the Fae is a stand-alone paranormal romance novel, and the first in the emotional and exciting Fae's Claim Series.

Features a snarly, possessive Fae male, intense love scenes, and a twist that will keep you gasping for more....

Interesting Story. Poor Writing

Clearly, with a 4.5 rating, I'm the odd person out, so, here's why: The main problem was that I found the writing, overall, sophomoric. As I read, I was often reminded of a person who needs to repeat, repeat, repeat the story, or elements thereof, they're telling/incident they're relating. I mean, how many times in a scene do I need to listen to how hard his muscles get, or how turgid he is. It's like the author repeated almost as "filler". I'm a true blue erotica fan, but Stolen By The Far did NOT do it for me

Not for me

I love the narrators, but even Wen and Kai can save this story. The dialogue is mundane: "I do this...He does that...She does this...I do that". Over simplification, but absolutely put me to sleep.

Needs more story

This book is 90% sex & no real story substance. You could have done so much more with your characters. Disappointing

Repetitive descriptive terms

Overall a good story with a great narrating performance.

I can not count how many times I heard " the sugary scent of arousal"🙄 That is just one repetition that stood out the most.

Meet Cute

I received a free audio book from the author.

Gia was in a bar talking to a bartender, grabbing a bottle of water before she was going to protect her boss who was th be sworn in as a leader of Moscow. The bartender looked up and said “alphahole alert”. She looked up in the mirror, saw a gorgeous man walking I. The door. The next thing she felt was him walking up behind her, placing his arms around her on the bar so that she was boxed in. Wow, immediate Tuen on.

After a short conversation, she escapes to the ladies room and he follows her, uninvited. After some hot and heavy petting, she finds out he’s fae and is town to harm her boss. They realize they are attracted to each other and he thinks she’s his mate, but he leaves her.

Later, at the Moscow leader’s swearing in, Dante shoots Gia, while trying to kill her boss. When he realizes he has shot Gia, he teleports her to his retreat. He finds he has killed her. He mingles his spirit with her and begins the mating process. Let the fireworks begin.

I liked this book, but the book is short on story and long on heat, it a bad thing. Gia and Dante are well invested in each other. There are few other characters introduced, yet there is a fair amount of conflict. I’m definitely glad I had the opportunity to listen to this book. The two people narrating this book did a great job.

Awesome!

Gia likes to play it close to the belt, but when a bathroom incident doesn't really go the way she thought it should she moved on. Dante decides to pursue Gia for his mate, how will this work out?

Interesting and different

This was an interesting read! It's different and the take on the Fae was a little different too. This story jumps off from the beginning. The reader is thrown into the world and we are trying to figure out the nuances of what is going on with Dante. It makes sense as Gia doesn't know exactly what's going on with Dante and what it means with him being Fae. She has a little knowledge but not much. Both Dante and Gia are being pulled in two directions within themselves. They don't know which way is right and you can see the fight within themselves throughout the entire book. It made things interesting and to keep changing throughout the story. There was plenty of action and intrigue to hold my attention the whole time. I liked the little teaser/set up of the next couple for the series. I am excited to check that one out next. I listened to the audio of this and the narrators were fantastic! They did a great job of voices for all the different characters and I loved that it was dual narration.

Couldn’t put this book down!!

A new perspective on the human and Fae relationships. Beautiful and somewhat unexpected love story between Gia and Dante. I keep hoping for a sequel just to their story. It’s a must read for anyone who loves paranormal Fae romance!!!
