The tutorial is over, and the game is done playing around. Join this comedic romp through the land of Kazaran, where you'll find interesting characters, a vast RPG world, adult themes/language/innuendo (don't worry, it's not a harem/reverse-harem book!)...and a fair amount of bloodshed too! In other words, Kazaran is intended for mature audiences who harbor very immature thoughts.

Grant and the team have entered Kazaran Online, the world’s first full-immersion online role-playing game. As testers, things were expected to be rough, but they had no idea what they were in for.

Despite ridiculous odds, they survived the first area… barely. Now they’ll have to make it through four more lands to complete the game and get back to the real world.

The second area, the Republic of Ardolin, awaits, with new allies and cunning foes. Grant’s having the time of his life, but forces from inside and outside the game are plotting to make sure he doesn’t survive to tell the tale.

Even better than the first. Enter the land of Ardolin, ruled by arrogant magic wielding elves. As the crew jump through quest hoops to level up and make their way to the capital, it becomes a case of the Haughty vs the Naughty. Hilarious action unfolds threatening death, dismemberment, enslavement, or some combination thereof. This romp is a raucous, interesting riot.

Another fun read

This is the second book in the Kazaran series, and it better than the first. Lots of action, snark, laugh out loud moments and pretty fast paced. I love it

Fantastic

I’ve read several LitRPG books and this stands out as unusual, in a very good way. It’s part of the LitRPG genre but it can be easily read by regular fans of questing fantasy fiction. I highly recommend you try it. It’s a great beginning if you have never read Lit RPG. Also, it’s very close to being a traditional epic high fantasy novel (except for some risqué shenanigans.)

I suggest you read the first in the series, although I think you could pick this up without reading the first book. You might be a little lost but not much.

This is definitely better than book one. Absolutely, amazing!!!!! The technical writing is outstanding and the story is extremely interesting. It also keeps you busy for a while. I find a lot of modern fantasy does not. I can usually read a book in about 3-5 hours. This one will last you a bit longer. AND, it’s extremely fast paced and fun!

It’s a worthwhile read and I think you will fall in love with the authors. Go on, you know you want to read it!!!

Book two of the Kazaran series is just as fantastic as the first one. We learn more about the players and people outside the game and we learn what kind of character they have as they are pushed to their limits.

The jokes are as funny or funnier than the first book. The running jokes especially. If you've ever been a part of a group of gamers, you know the running jokes make the questing even better. That is certainly the case here.

Book one was all about setting up expectations for this series, and I worried that it would be formulaic for the next books. That was a dumb worry. Noah Sturdevant and John P. Logsdon kept book two fresh and exciting every crazy step of the way.

I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series. I know they have lots more surprises in store for us. Great job!

Amazing, fun, exciting world to immerse yourself in.

Cliffs of Eldimar throws you back in the LitRPG world of Kazaran. This book continues the story and will give you a first hand look at what it would be like to live and fight inside a game. It is exciting, with amazing and vivid detail of the environment the players find themselves in. Follow along as Grant and his team fight to stay alive, all the while leveling up so they can be stronger, faster, and better (individually as well as a team). Even if you've never played a video game, you will be caught up in the story and adventures each member faces and rally along with them to the next level.

**Warning: this text may contain spoilers** This book is the second installment of the series of kazaran books, and like the first book it doesn't fail to disappoint! Having just completed the first level of the game, grant and his fellow travellers are thrust into to the  next level of the game. I love how the characters level up as the book progresses and learn new skills, like an actual computer game as well. Not only this but, there are new characters and also hilarious scenarios and banter throughout the book, which will have you laughing throughout. I loved it so much, I read it in one night.

Gamers of the world unite! And read this book! I felt like I was playing the Fable series (or insert your favorite RPG here) games all over again, it was that true to the process. Really love the characters, and of course the insanely funny jokes and one liners that our favorite authors are known for. Can never go wrong with hilariously filthy dialogue :D. The story flows so smoothly, and the world building continues with this second book of the Kazaran series. Great character development as well, really impressed with this one guys! Definitely a read worth your time.

John P. Logsdon and Noah K. Sturdevant are quickly becoming one of my favorite writing duos. Their wit and sarcasm makes even the most mundane tasks seem fun. Cliffs of Eldimar is the second book in the series and is just as good if not better than the first! Want fighting? It's in there. Want flirting? Oh yeah, definitely in there. Side quests? Yep! And much more (spoilery stuff I won't mention) that adds to the action, adventure, hilarity,( and sexiness?) that makes this a must read! I definitely recommend!

Great book for all LitRPG fans.

The journey continues, Grant and his comrades continue on the quest to level up to 50 and escape the virtual world of Kazaran. This time they must compete in a tournament to enable them to get to Eldimar and obtain crystal shard in order to move onto the next location. But it’s not gonna be as easy as it seems. A great book that’s hard to put down, but you need to read the previous book “Vines of Ostaria” first.

What a ride! I've never been a gamer but I would definitely play Kazaran.

Grant is such a gentleman and he's a great leader for his group. There are many twists and turns in the Cliffs of Eldimar. The world building is amazing and the uniqueness of each character is refreshing. There is plenty of snark and adult humor to keep you laughing and enjoying the game. Very engaging book. I'm curious to see what happens as the team continue their journey into the next level.

This series is really kicking into gear with Cliffs of Eldimar. A fun read, with adventure, laughs, a whole lotta insults and snark. The gaming references threw me off a bit in the first book, as I don't play. But that was like a primer, and now I'm right in the groove. Read on, and laugh out loud - I dare you not to. (Note: not recommended for your tender tweens, unless you want them to know more about sex than you probably do. No explicit sex, but a whole lotta inventive innuendo.)

Fabulous!

This is the 2nd book in the Kazaran Online series after “Vines of Ostara” and I am loving how the characters are progressing with each new challenge they encounter. I had not read LitRPG before and wasn’t too sure if I would enjoy this genre, however Ive found the levelling up and acquiring of new skills to add more interest to the story. And it’s funny! So, I highly recommend this series.

The game continues

Trapped in a virtual reality game, the team takes on a new land and the new dangers awaiting. With more skills and more powers things get easier, right? Wrong, since their does are leveling up as well. Enjoyable read and an interesting game with very well developed characters.

#2 of series. have read other books of his and they tend to be on the juvenile side, which for the ppd ones that makes sense, but not so much for litrpg, regardless of the assumption made that the book/s are only read/for prepubescent tweens/teens, ones who have watched too many twilight/soap opera nonsense.

This series just keeps getting better. I love the characters and their quirks, especially Zack’s child filter. “...in a shirty mood.” Ha! Really looking forward to the next books

The action keeps coming

Review of the main characters skills and such would be a helpful addition at the end of the book, not worth the loss of a star at this point.

So much fun

These books are so much fun to read. The richness and depth of the world is really well written. I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of time before Grant and the crew are dealing with a crazy shep/cyril and possibly melandra, but it's so fun getting there.

Fun and flirty

Great jobs at pushing the boundaries of acceptable limits while still holding fast and true to a general audience. This book was a lot of fun, but much faster than the first book.

Alert

I hate trying to write reviews because there are really only pass/fail results for me. Did I make it all the way through? Yes? 5 stars. No? There would be nothing here to read. In all fairness, if an author holds my attention from page one to the end, they’ve done their job. Anything less than 5 stars is petty criticism from someone incapable of even doing the job let alone doing a better one.

So in respect for the author and their work, I am going to start pasting this along with a generic review I found somewhere. “This was a fun book. I am glad that I read it. You should try it too.”

Cheers
