Seduced by the Fae: Paranormal Romance (Fae's Claim Book 3) is fiery. A passionate; on fire read. This author creates a sculpted, signet read that exhibits her maven. Tornado like effects cascading through the pages with suspense seeping through at every chapter. With riveting plot twists,
melodrama, impassioned chemistry between Alice and Doc (aka Nolan) entwined within the narrative. Character's are compelling with complex personalities. A graphically detailed and descriptive new cosmos that you can escape to for a little while. Looking forward to reading the next novel in this highly addictive series.

Can attraction make people stupid?

The Hero: Doc (a.k.a. Nolan) - a doctor and a member of the Fae Corps. He is a Fae with dragon shifter blood mixed in. He thrives on dominance and has wanted Alice for a long time. Though he has balked at the thought of mating and teased the other members of the Fae Corps that have recently mated.
The heroine(s): Alice - A human nurse adopted by the Fae. Doc has allowed her to help him in his work. She has had feelings for Doc for quite a while. She has been kidnapped and used as bait by the resistance to trap the alpha’s of the Fae Corps.
The Story: Doc knows that chemistry exists between him and Alice. But he a standard Alpha-hole Fae and pushes her away even as he knows he can’t stand the thought of any other male touching Alice. He comes to her rescue after she is kidnapped.
Like the first two books, this was narrated by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. They do a great job and I really like Kai’s deep voice. This book was dual POV and I liked the story and the romance better than Property of the Fae. Though like that book, the priorities these characters have leaves something to be desired.
Alice is used as bait in a trap and when Doc comes to rescue her, they know it is a trap. However, instead of leaving and bringing back more members of the Fae Corps, Doc and Alice keep talking and things even start to get a bit erotic. Even when they hear footsteps nearby, they don’t do anything.
Also I am not quite sure why all of the Alpha Fae with hot powers have to be damaged. This isn’t the first book in the series where the Hero had been raped as a child. I hate that. I think that a man can like BDSM and also be a commitment phobe without being damaged as a child.
So Doc is a sadist but doesn’t like rules or safe words. Alice is so in love with him that she agrees. He asks her to trust him, which sounds right, but how can someone agree to that? The master in that relationship wouldn’t be the one feeling the pain, so what if he doesn’t know when to stop. What if she feels more pain than he expects? Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Though when he told Alice what he would do to her he made it sound pretty sexy I will have to admit.
This book has a lot of sizzling hot and super steamy intimate scenes. I liked the smutty scenes despite what I said above. Every now and then you just get into the smut in a romance like this one and this one just did it for me. There was definitely more romance and smut than there was story, but for that type of book, it hit the spot.

Laxmi has written another great story in this epic series. Be prepared for a lot of action, steamy love scenes, denial and a whole lot of loving. The tension between Doc and Alice at times can be cut with a knife. You will not be disappointed in this unveiling of this love story. At times it will become very dark, but that’s the appeal of Doc. You just can’t help but fall in love with him right along with Alice.
This book in this series covers so many issues with Doc form his childhood, with killing his father after the years of abuse he inflicted on Doc, with his killing his mother right beside him when he was a baby to the sexual abuse and physical abuse. It’s amazing how Doc was able to survive the trauma of his life. It puts everything into perspective that he is now a healer.
Alice was human and had been adopted by a Fae family when she was two, all her life she has wanted to be Fae, but that wouldn’t happen. But ever since she has known Doc, she was saving herself for him. Which was her undoing and enabling Boris to kidnap her to sell her in the virgin auctions. Doc was able to follow her and rescue her but was severely injured and needed time to heal. It was during the healing time that Alice had driven him so crazy that he was going to force her into submission and break her and build her up again.
Alice got under his skin again that he felt he had to mate her which she freely encouraged to his dismay. Doc was constantly fighting with Alice that he wasn’t going to be her mate. Then she was kidnapped again by Boris. Alice discovers her half brother again, but that’s another story.
Doc is in denial that Alice is his mate. He refuses to acknowledge it. But when she is taken from him, he just about loses his mind and manages to find her again, but this time he has to kill Boris. Alice helps him to escape from the auction but to do this, she sealed the bonding which angers Doc. Alice is tenacious and forces a Doc to acknowledge his feelings but he is a stubborn alpha-hole Fae who needs to nearly lose her before he recognises his link to Alice. But you will have to read it yourself to learn everything about this tale......

Alice is a human who has always had the hots for Doc...Ever since he healed her foot with such tenderness, she hasn't been able to stay away and helps him in his clinic. Little does she know that the fae Doc has taken a liking to her, but will she stick around when she finds out about his fetish?
Nolan also known as Doc is part of the Fae Corps, he loves his job, both on the field and healing, but little do his fellow brothers and especially the little human know of his dark secrets. He has to keep Alice away from himself lest he hurt her in unthinkable ways, but he also can't stay away when she is kidnapped and threatened...No one but himself can touch her, but will she stick sround when she is confronted with the real Doc?

Holy hot Doc! Hariharan never fails to bring the heat in the Fae's Claim series and this book did not disappoint! I think Doc is my new favorite fae in this series. He is just the right mix of emotionally damaged/tortured by his past individual and alpha-hole. I enjoyed getting to know more about his past and what makes him so dominant. We really get to delve into the psychology behind Doc and how that impacts his current state of being. Oh, and Alice? She is fantastic. She is the perfect sub to his dom. She submits to him when it is warranted but stands up to him when he is out of line. Seduced by the Fae portrays BDSM in the way that it should be portrayed, and I loved every minute of it. I can hardly stand the wait for book 4 in the Fae's Claim series!

Doc And Alice's Story Combines Danger With Elements Of BDSM!
This is book three of the Fae's Claim series. Each book is an interconnected stand-alone. The first book was Dante and Gia's story. Book two was Tristan and Jess's story. Here is Doc/Nolan's story with his assistant, Alice.
At the close of book two, Doc and Alice had argued and she had stormed off prior to his engagement in a Dare, a social gathering in which two Fae males fight. She thought he was foolish to jealoardize his hands, which he needs to practice medicine. The story ended as Doc suddenly teleported away from the Dare without explanation.
In addition to being a medical doctor, Doc is part of the Fae Corps. He also has some dragon blood, but he hasn't developed any distinguishable dragon features other than his occasionally slanted eyes. Like his good friend Tristan, Nolan has a dark past. It has left him scarred, unable to deal with his emotions. The corps teaches methods to control outward signs of stress, but sadism is the only cure he knows for his darkness. He avoids Alice because she is his weakness. Her innocent but teasing way drives him crazy.
Alice is tough for a human. She was adopted and raised in a Fae family after her mother died in a Berserker attack in Bombay. She is convinced Nolan is the one and has been saving herself for him. When she is kidnapped from the beach and put up for auction, her hopes seem to be at an end.
Doc and Alice's story combines danger with elements of BDSM. The struggle for power continues in this book, as both new and old faces make an appearance. Doc and Alice eventually get their happy ending, and two additional matches are poised for a romance story of their own.
This story is well-written. The plot is complex, though some parts of the story drag. The characters are nicely developed. It is written in first person. The POV alternates between Doc and Alice. I rate this book four stars.

I actually listened to the audio version of this book, but there was no audiobook listed as a choice for this review.
I enjoyed listening to this story. It was the first one I have read in the series, but I didn't feel lost not knowing who everyone was already. Alice is a human woman who was adopted by a fae family when she was a baby and was found crying in the street next to her dead mother. She has always wished she could be fae so that she would fit in. She has a crush on Nolan, or Doc as he is known, but knows he is an "alphahole" who just wants to act bossy and superior.
Alice has been kidnapped and has no idea where she has been taken, or by whom. Fortunately, Doc shows up to rescue her but that doesn't go quite as he planned. When he is attacked and, by all appearances, killed, Alice finds out that her captor is none other than the former fae commander and he intends to sell her to the highest bidder. Apparently her virginity is worth something. When Doc reappears and they manage to escape he has to take her to a safe house while he recovers his strength.
He is strong enough to take care of her little virginity problem. Of course, since he is a dominant who is into BDSM this goes a little differently than Alice might have thought. Doc, however, is not in it for the long haul. So why does he knot her if he plans to let her go?
I thought there were a few phrases that were used a little too much. Maybe it is because I was listening to the book rather than reading it that I noticed. I will let you decide for yourself.

Another sizzling story featuring an Alpha Fae and his human mate. This was a heated dance between two fiery souls who despite trying to deny their explosive attraction, come together and take the ultimate step to bond. Doc is a no holds barred Alpha Fae, sinfully brutal as a Dom but relentless in pleasuring Alice, his human mate. Alice craves all the painful highs only Doc can serve his willing submissive mate, pleasuring her in ways unimaginable, leaving her sated and feening their next love assault. Their journey to one another is filled with obstacles that endanger their lives several times, making their delicious mating that more sensorily orgasmic. He is set in making sure no harm comes to Alice, but can he protect her from what is most lethal to her, which is him? I absolutely enjoyed reading this complex opposites attract story where a vulnerable Dom finds solace in the strength of his fiery sub. Doc and Alice were a wonderful couple to follow from inception to the fruition of a true love between fated mates.

Doc and Alice
Spoiler alert! Doc and Alice have secretly been wanting each other for quite a while now and until Alice gets kidnapped by Boris he has tried to keep his distance. This time there was no holding back, has to save her. Boris wants to sell her at auction because she is a virgin. Doc saves her and takes her to the closest Fae Corps safe house because he got injured. Alice feels that he is her mate she loves him, but doc wants a submissive. She says she can handle it, so Doc says that he will try it for 48hrs. However, he ends up knotting her and claiming her, but he will not admit that he is in love with her. It's going to take some time for Doc to commit fully.
Alice leaves the safe house after an argument with him and gets captured by Boris again. That's when Boris tells her that she and Doc were just pawns in his plan to get the Corps all in one place so that he can destroy them all.

Spoiler alert! Doc and Alice have secretly been wanting each other for quite a while now and until Alice gets kidnapped by Boris he has tried to keep his distance. This time there was no holding back, has to save her. Boris wants to sell her at auction because she is a virgin. Doc saves her and takes her to the closest Fae Corps safe house because he got injured. Alice feels that he is her mate she loves him, but doc wants a submissive. She says she can handle it, so Doc says that he will try it for 48hrs. However, he ends up knotting her and claiming her, but he will not admit that he is in love with her. It's going to take some time for Doc to commit fully.
Alice leaves the safe house after an argument with him and gets captured by Boris again. That's when Boris tells her that she and Doc were just pawns in his plan to get the Corps all in one place so that he can destroy them all.

Can I just say, WOW!
Laxmi has given us another tantalizing view of her creative genius in “Seduced By The Fae”. This perfectly written dystopian tale is a wild ride on the dark side. It has drama, suspense, intrigue and steamy, hot chemistry that leaves you breathless and unable to move until you have read the last page…… and still you want more! The scenes are so vivid your mind puts you in each scene with the incredible authentic characters and you feel every cringe-worthy moment, every tear, every burst of anger, every moment of love and disappointment. Doc and Alice are the perfect blends of, ”opposites attract” in fated mates, with a slew of twists and misunderstandings. Add into the mix villainous dark fae and this is one thrilling ride to love.

Biggest Alphahole in the Series!
I read book 4 before listening to this one, so there was a few things I already knew about but... Wow, Nolan turned up to be the most infuriating and twisted of our fae bunch. He takes the dominant macho alpha to a sadistic level, and I'm not kidding. He's some scary dude in bed; to the point I had to skip a sex scene. Guess he's too much for me.
Aside from that the book itself is just as emotionally packed as the rest of the series. Starting with the usual kidnapping, telling us a bit the lead characters traumatic pasts and then giving us a few action scenes that end up with the big boss fight. Never expected Doc was a hybrid just like Gabriel, so that was a nice surprise. All in all, even when I must admit Nolan didn't made me swoon over him it was a great read.

Laxmi does not disappoint with this story about a macho, alpha-hole Fae who tries to turn away from what was best for him and the journey he takes along the way.
Doc/Nolan a member of the Fae Corps who we met in earlier books has his own adventure to deal with in this book when Boris shows up again. We learn more about Doc's dark history and some of his darker appetites.

Another hot story full of contrasts, drama, intense emotions and sizzling hot scenes between the main characters. Doc shows off his wild and violent side, as much as his kinky tastes, lust for dominance, or impenetrable cold control. His many faces blend into each other as he spends more time with Alice, his mate and nemesis in one. Not afraid to step up to Doc, go toe to toe with him, meet his every whim and challenge him a lot, this tiny woman is a fierce heroine on her own, ready to kick some ass if needed. Exploring their own feelings, their thoughts, and the core of their hearts, the way to accept each other might be thorny for Alice and Doc, but every step of it is worth the infuriating madness.

This was one hella of a HOT read with Doc and Alice that brought everyone on a wild ride.
Doc (Nolan) is a smokin hot, demanding Alpha master that needs submission and a sub willing to give in to him, but what if Alice has other plans and wants to make him take her with no boundaries and so on.
The emotions and push-pull is striking hot and will make you feel it all over the place. I fell for those two, and their connection was vivid and real with everything that was going on, and that was the thing that was getting me into this story so fast!
I recommend it to fans of sexy, mature reads with D/s relationship and no "STOP" signs!

Nolan, a dominating and overprotective Fae influenced by a traumatic childhood rescued Alice and changed her life forever. With a strong attraction that threatened his control, he was intended to make her submit to his kinky passion. But Alice showed her strength and passion challenging him every time. Liked the steamy detailed descriptions and narrations, hot, hot, hot, and the fight of wills. Their enemy was close and a surprise from the past too. Suspense, violence, steamy scenes and interesting twists in the story that promised more action in the future.

Third book in the series of alpha Fae males. We’ve met Doc and Alice in the previous books. But now they get their story told. Doc has a dark past and secrets. He sees himself as broken and too dangerous to take the woman he wants as his mate. But like all alpha-holes they are possessive. When Alice is taken all thoughts become focused on her and his darker side will come out. Alice will learn what she truly wants and needs. The story does have a lot of the bedroom centered around pain and pleasure. So expect things to get very hot and controlling.

Awesome. Especially the audio version
The two main characters in this story is very expressive, especially when they are talking about their desire for each other. The characters voices and the way the story is told makes me want to listen it over and over again. I cannot get tired of paranormal stories like these that have good story line and is well written. you can always count an a brilliant story from this author, you will never be disappointed. not all audio books bring the story alive so well but this one is brilliant.

Looking for fun and sexy fantasy/paranormal romance? Then look no further, as Laxmi Hariharan’s Fae's Claim series is just what you need. Each of the books in this series has been a load of (sexy) fun, and that’s more than true with the latest addition, Seduced by the Fae (Book 3). I adored Doc (Nolan) and Alice's story. He’s totally the promised “snarly, brooding, flawed Fae male” but this alpha guy has met his match in this wonderful story. Definitely recommend.

I love this book but it was a little harder for me to get into. Instead of dealing with his past and living his life style even when he knows she is the one and doesn't accept it is so confusing. He is so obsessed with causing her pain where are more of the loving scenes. I understand most of what this author was going for having been in that lifestyle at one time. This one didn't reach out and grab me like the others and that is sad since I love these characters.

30 chapters of nothing but sex(don't get me wrong it's 1 of the reasons I read these books, just like everyone else) theres zero story line, zero plot. Chapter in the middle has a hint of something besides banging but then the next 10 chapters are just sex again. The only story plot is the last 5 chapters & only because author needed to set up next book. I tried giving author a chance but in think this is the last book I'll read.

Doc and Alice have liked each other for awhile but Doc keeps his distance, not wanting a mate and also not believing that Alice could handle his darker needs. When Alice is kidnapped by Boris, Doc can't keep his distance any longer. He saves her and when Alice tells him that she can be the submissive he needs, he ends up knotting and claiming her but continues to fight his feelings for her. Feels very much a repeat of the first two books which a lot of the same phrases used.

This well-written storyline is sometimes dark, filled with sexual tension and pleasure. The chemistry is sizzling and our Hero is a dominant alpha male fae. The main characters are defined and have plenty of steam. Great addition to the series. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Docs book is beyond heat. The man is a dom in the best ways possible. He makes you.melt into a puddle. He saves Alice after she is kidnapped and makes her his...only for her to get kidnapped and we meet some ok next from her past...and these 2 together puts off enough heat you'll need a cigarette after.
