Good book to pass the time, same formula as all the others.

Besides all the heavy handedness! This series is starting to have a point. Power and conjugal relations rule their world. So many you stole my land, here pretty bobble to distract you from the battle field. The usual jealousy and I'm mad, so so mad.

Whoa I need to know what happens next! I love this new Kayden!
I felt the beginning and front half had a tiny feel/vibe to Zeus & Lucy’s series in some areas, I wasn’t too thrilled at the déjà vu.
But after that it was pretty good.
Romance: 3.5/5
Heat: Some of the timing for things felt too short during a Heat Cycle, so I couldn’t make it a solid five out of five, 4/5
Drama: 4/5
Suspense: 3.5-4/5
Well done with this one, definitely enjoyed this one.

An amazing & thrilling read!
In the previous book, we saw how Kayden escaped (& Zeus let him..) Z wanted him to redeem himself, but who Thought that Kai will kidnap an omega to get his country back?
Rut her, claim her, mate her (without her consent😭)..
All along not knowing who she really is..
“This is not only about an alpha rutting an omega, there's something more here. Her beauty calls to me. Her innocence seduces me.”
He did her wrong, I hated him for that.. I'm really proud at Chloe for fighting him.
He brings her to Scotland, groups his clan.. to take back his country, protect its citizens, fulfil a promise..
Reasons are revealed & as much as he wants to make himself a monster, I know he isn't.
“She's softening me, messing with my head & it makes me uneasy.”
Then a chance to escape comes & she takes it, only to realise it's a trap.. & she have threatened Kai & her life.
“When had my kidnapper became the only Man I wanted? Who meant more to me than my life itself?”
The Vikings & kai is fighting.. he was just stabbed..God, even though I hate him, I need him to live & redeem himself, to give Chloe everything she deserves!
P.s. I'm off to read the next part!

4 star Review Captive Of The Alpha (Knotted Omega #4 ) by Laxmi Hariharan
Audio Review:
Laxmi Hariharan is a relatively new author to me. Although Dystopian paranormal romance is not a genre I typical read or listen to. This was a hot and steamy book, it is book one in Kayden and Chloe’s story and had me invested from the first to the last chapter.
The narration from Tor Thom and Charley Ongel certainly brought the story to life for me, the chemistry between them is obvious and they did the story justice.
Kayden is determined to seek revenge and chloe is the instrument that he chooses to use to achieve it. However what he doesn’t count on is his attraction to Chloe.
Will Chloe be rescued? Cannot wait to see what happens next. Be aware there are some situations that may be a trigger for some.

Could not finish
Phew!! I hate writing “negative” reviews but after reading hundreds of Alpha/Omega stories, I definitely have developed a particular taste. I have such conflicting feelings about this author’s books. I read the first 3 with Lucy/Zeus and had conflicting emotions throughout all 3 books too.
First off, the author’s style for red hot sexual scenes is on point- her descriptive writing is great here. The plot is not even bad (for your typical Alpha world).
My issue lies with the characters. I especially could not stand both Omega sisters. Their decision making was so horrible, their train of thought was so all over the place. It just did not make sense that Lucy was “trained by the best” and Chloe’s actions and thoughts never matched up. For example, I loved that she was all about standing up for herself and plotting to get the alpha to fall for her but then literally few sentences later, she’s outraged that Lucy/Zeus want her to try to do the SAME THING she wanted to do. Just no. I couldn’t continue with that exhaustive yoyo cycle for 2nd part of this series.

AMAZING! A fantastic, well written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. A thrilling must read.

I thought I liked Zeus in the first three books, but there is something about Kayden that just does it for me. This installment of the Knotted Omega series lets us get our first peek at Kayden as he seeks revenge on his brother. He steals Chloe, and Omega from the harem and mates her against her will. But what he doesn't expect is the feelings he develops for her. And what he is willing to do to protect her. A few twists and turns keep the suspense high and the emotions in turmoil. Surprising expectations come from Zeus and Lucy, leave Chloe in a precarious situation. It's fast paced, erotic and has me rooting for this couple! Will Kayden get his revenge? Will Zeus save Chloe? It's all up in the air until the next installment of the series.

A little bit of taboo when Kayden mates with Chloe against her will is just the tip of the iceberg as we dive into the story. (As for ice, have some handy because you will need to cool off as things heat up). Kayden seeks revenge by using Chloe, but the chemistry between them is strong. With twists and turns, I was on the edge of my seat and hoping these two would realize they are perfect for each other. This is my favorite in the series by far and a must read.
Tor Thom and Charley Ongel have that natural chemistry that brings this romance to life. Tor narrates Kayden perfectly with his deep, alpha voice and makes him commanding and fierce. Charley brings out all the emotions in Chloe. Chloe is a strong character and Charley easily narrates her as I imagined her. Tor and Charley always deliver a wonderful performance. They really enhanced the experience of this story and made me feel as if I was right there in the book.

Laxmi Hariharan, brought new things to her writing. This book gave attitude, anger and an I do t care emotions from her character’s. Her description of the landscape, was explained well in her story. The reader was able to relate to the scene in the characters at that particular scene in the book. Kayden and Chloe brought the attitude. The paring of these two characters is different. Laxmi, worked creating a plot that joined these two together. This was an idea to use to I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free gifted copy. help the characters grow together on the book.

So her sister is who she is, an Omega. There was nowhere for her to fall which was great. Also Zeus was all talk but Kai, now he was a straight out bastard and me loved it right away. Right direction, also no thousand pages of inner monologue. Fantastic!

Wonderful
I love the story this Trilogy is awesome. I am nearing the end of it and I cannot say enough about these books. I am hooked! I can't wait to read the next book and see what happens. You are definitely going to be hooked when you start reading this. I highly, highly recommend this trilogy.

Essentially just heat
If you are looking for 90%heat and 10% story, this is your book. It's not bad, it's not amazing. This world is interesting, but I'm not sure about the constant sex. It's awkward and rape.

Crazy good.
I really liked this story because it gave a fascinating new take on alphas and how they treat their omegas. I hate cliffhangers, but since the next story is ready I will forgive the author. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Stopped this scene during the first few chapters while the MC gleefully described his rape (his words) of a girl he happens upon in a pool. Meh, not worth the read. Terrible inner monologing, no real plot, main characters with little to no personality

Goodness! Another intense, suspenseful and erotic journey to go on. I was on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding the entire time. Great story!
