The war is on, and Evangeline is standing right on the front lines.
The Black Ops Paranormal Police Department has been dissolved, leaving on a handful of members who are now being hunted. Their best bet is to just go underground and wait things out, allowing Eve to hit the one-year mark of survival so that she can return to the Badlands and reclaim the House of Sinister.
Eve has never been one who liked playing it safe.
Andras has a new set of allies, and they're all bent on the destruction of all past Black Ops PPD members. Worse, with the heat on him from the Houses of Varaz, Tross, and Mathen, he's becoming desperate. He'll do anything to destroy Eve and wipe out the remaining Black Ops PPD members, even if it means destroying the entirety of Los Angeles in the process.
Digging deep, Eve pulls on all the knowledge given to her by Garrick.
If she succeeds, she will take back House Sinister and have Andras and the other leaders from her rival Houses executed, and she will also claim the throne as the queen of the hellions; if she fails, not only will Los Angeles fall into a level of darkness they've never known, the Badlands will be subjected to a crippling level of organized crime.

I am totally in awe of John and Christopher’s world building skills. This entire series has been riveting. From start to finish, the characters have developed into well-rounded individuals, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Before starting this book, I tried to imagine just how some situations would be brought to a logical resolution. Nope! I didn’t even come close. This is an amazing wrap-up. My only complaint is that it is over.

Eve is amazing awesome paranormal action
Wow! Sorry to see it end but what a way to end it. Eve is just the right combination of honor and badassery. All the characters come full circle, some good some bad. Great action, magic, mayhem and hilarity. I’m blown away by the intrigue and weaving of the characters changing perspectives and interesting plot twists. I hope we get to hear more about Garrick in the future.

Sinister Book 5 – Unrighteous.
Wow, wow, wow...what an absolutely tremendous way to finish this series!
It is a phenomenal book, so very well written in the way that every page continues the story are & plot, yet it’s packed with information on the characters individual storylines, that even to the last few pages your not 100 % sure how the finale will turn out!
This last book neatly answers all those questions you as a reader have and need answers too.
I can honestly say that though I didn’t want the book / series to end, the ending is so good it was worth staying awake to finish reading it in one night.
Truly gifted authors, this is one of the best books / series I have read in years!!
Many congratulations to you both & I look forward to reading new books & series collaborations in the future! I totally recommend to any new reader to the Paranormal Police Department World to get on board, find a comfy chair & prepare to encounter a whole new world of fun!

If you don't read this book, you are missing out!!!
Righteous the five instalment of the sinister series is action packed from start to finish. Evangeline only had two months before she can claim back house sinister. You think that would be easy, but no she's being attacked from all sides. Be ready for the emotional roller-coaster of a book, that will have you laughing one minute and in tears the next. Its hard not to get completely engrossed. So don't think you can read a couple of chapters and put it down, you would be seriously wrong!!!

Fantastic climax to brilliant series
Wow this book takes you to the edge and back again. As Andras gatherers together his forces to finally bring down Eve, little does he know the forces that are gathering against him, some from within his own house. As I read this book I couldn’t put it down needing to get to the end, wishing it wouldn’t end at the same time. If you haven’t read any of Johns books this series will have you coming back for more. Another brilliantly written book from the hand and mind of John Logsdon.

AWESOME!!
I am going to admit that I didn't read this one when it first came out because real life interfered. That being said, this book was AMAZING!! Everything was tied together in such a way that you were satisfied with the end result. Eve proved that not only she is a kick-ass person, but she has a distinct code of conduct that she is unwilling to betray. Thank you Mr. Logsdon for sharing her story with us.

Bitter sweet
I was sad to finish reading Sinister: Unrighteous because it tells the end of this fabulous tale.
This whole five book storyline has been absolutely fantastic! I have enjoyed the excitement, the tension, the magic, the surprises and the laughs that the amazing characters have been through and that I have been through right along with them.

Wow and wow again
A stupendous mix of magic, thrills and action to complete this series. This final chapter has now raised this to the top of my favourites within the PPD universe, and a heartfelt hope that we will hear more from this bad ass heroine and her crew.
The journey has been an amazing one full of ups and downs but one that i loved all the way.

This series has been dynamic. So, I should have assumed the culmination of all the threads of this intricate web to be outstanding. A masterpiece of storytelling, with all of the action and humor one would expect, but with an additional edge that lends Sinister that extra something. A gravitas. Beautifully done.

I don’t even know what to say about this book that I haven’t said about the others. I loved it ❤️ So. Much. This whole series was fantastic and I am so sad it’s ended. But the way it’s concluded is beyond reproach. Such a satisfying ending to one of the best series I’ve ever had the privilege to read. Thank you so much for this story!

Blew through the series in a couple days
So I had these in my TBR pile and almost set them aside permanently. That would have been a mistake, these books were light, well thought out and fun. Lots of twists and action to keep the pace fast and your interest piqued. Definitely checking both authors for other works and I'll be watching for additional books in this universe.

Great ending!
An outstanding series. This (book 5) resolved all the remaining questions, while introducing some new characters and some additional questions. Also, there was some humor, missing from the last few stories. Sad to see it end. But, there is plenty more. Excellent series!

Fantastic
Eve and her team are close to either loosing their lives or coming out with the biggest win any of them could imagine. So much action, humor, and twist and turns. Perfect end to a truly imaginative series.

This was a good story that ends the adventures of Eve in the Black Ops and the rest of her "family and team." A good ending and HFN. An HFN as life as a queen can be precarious and she has a long road ahead of her. I am just sorry that she didn't find a love of her own in the story.

John does it again, this series grabs you from the beginning to the end. The action and emotions are in for a treat. It's hard to stop reading once you pick up the first book to the very end.

It is so sad to see the end of this excellent series. The writing is superb with the storyline gripping throughout. Anyone who loves a great story will love these. The characters are real and believable with the action and adventure a delicious ride.

Is it Good to be Queen?
Is it good to be Queen? Another one, hit right out of the park!! This is a must read!! These books, while darker than PPD, are still full of snark and fun. Cross and double-cross, our heroine leads her troop and saves the day. Loved it.

Same book as 4
This book is labeled as 5 bit the copy I have read same as 4. In 4 they wefe getting read tio fight. This one is start of 4. I didn't finish reading it.It was so disappointing.

I love the series. It was fun reading Eve's story. Even though the black ops is over and she's queen now I do hope there are going to be more books with her crew in the future.
