The Hero: Gabriel - He is Alice’s half brother and was introduced in Seduced by the Fae as a slave trader for the virgin auctions. When Alice knew him he was a loving brother, but when she met him again he was something different. Someone that Boris (the villain in the first three books) feared. It turned out he is Fae and Vampire.

The heroine(s): Lily - a human woman who was adopted by a Fae family. She is only 18 and best friends with Charley, the adopted daughter of Jess from Property of the Fae. She has been attracted to Gabriel since she first met him in Alice’s hospital room.

The Story: Gabriel was visiting with Dante, the leader of the Fae Corps to try to get them to help him in his vendetta against the Vampires, and his quest to kill all the flesh traders who were responsible for the death of his mother and his being sold as a slave. When Dante says they won’t help him, he takes Lily and runs.

I liked the premise of this one and though all the men in this series so far have been dominant alpha fae males, Gabriel seems bigger and badder and more of an unknown quantity since he isn’t in the Fae Corps like the rest of the guys so far. I also kinda like the captive romance trope.

After stealing Lily, Gabriel is forced to turn her in order to save her life. The transformation takes time and is extremely hot. Like the rest of this series the narration was dual POV/dual narration by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Man do I love this series, so dark, but at the same time so heart warming!

Fae/Vampire Gabriel never thought to see his sister Alice again, but here she is and I must save her. Maybe the Fae Corps will be appreciative of the fact that I saved her and Doc and help me finally put an end to the kidnapping of virgins by the Berserkers. Not happening though, but maybe if I kidnap the little human who has caught my eye will make them change their minds.

Another no go Lilly has caught my eye for sure, but it's more than that. I wasn't counting on the fact that this virginal human would bring out the worst in me and with that the best.

Lilly never thought she could be so naughty, but that's what Gabe brings out in me and I love it!

Not for the faint of heart, but I never said I was....lol I so love this series.

Although I edited this book, I still think it’s fair for me to rate it, provided I am honest about my involvement. I don’t love characters like Gabriel and I have trouble relating to characters like Lily who find themselves helplessly attracted to bad boys like him. Nevertheless, I think Laxmi does a good job of conveying the conflicting emotions felt by both of these characters and I could see why they belonged together.

One of the things I liked best about this story was Laxmi’s descriptions of the darkness inside of the characters, most clearly described in Lily during her transformation. The trip she takes into her own psyche is frightening, and I loved that the two of them found salvation from the darkness only when with the other. I thought this was a great description of Lily’s struggle: “I am a speck in the wind. Rising. Rising. The earth is moving around me. Swooping up to meet me. Darkness pulls me under.”

Lily doesn’t have a lot of changing to do. She gives up part of herself, as we all do when we love someone, but she maintains the most important parts and her self-identity is one of those things. Gabriel goes through some significant changes. Ultimately, this is what made me like him. Because of his love for Lily, he becomes a better man, thus demonstrating the transformative power of love. It’s an engaging story with characters whom I ultimately came to like.

ONE EXPLOSIVE ADVENTURE!!!
Intense! Laxmi not only hits the motherload, she blasts this baby wide open with this incredibly composed piece of perfection, presenting one compelling storyline and engaging plot, welding this bad boy together sleek, shiny and tight. A tumultuous whirlwind of unsettling circumstances and startling happenstance, propels those churning emotions into play, blasting this little gem into a tailspin with an life-altering culmination. Revealing the drama, tension, intrigue, abduction, danger, mounting suspense and perplexing situations along with a boatload of trouble while dodging calamity, you have one block busting adventure. The attraction and chemistry sizzles through the pages, alluring and mesmerizing, drawing you closer until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that transform into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Fantastic job Laxmi, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Knotted by the Fae by Laxmi Hariharan was an incredibly steamy and intense paranormal romance. Gabriel is a fae-vampire and steals Lily, a human living with the Fae Corps, to get the attention of the Fae Corps and try to put a stop to the vampire virgin auctions. He accidentally kills Lily and turns her into a fae-vampire to save her. They have a connection from the moment they meet, and he can't understand why. Gabe keeps the two secluded in his home and helps her with the transition. Lily knows she likes Gabe even though he kidnapped her, and a part of her is sad every time he mentions them not being mated. But they kind of are because she bit him and he turned her. There was a lot of suspense and this was an addition in the much bigger plot of defeating the virgin auctions. I liked the steaminess between Lily and Gabe, and Gabe was definitely caring for Lily at times. But Gabe was such an a**hole for most of the book. He wasn't nice to his friend and advisor Rafael, at all, but then suddenly switched a flip and they were bantering at the end of the book, which wasn't that realistic. There were a few grammatical errors throughout. Gabe's personality switched a lot randomly and I couldn't see how he really changed in the last instant. There was also the issue of cannibalism(???) that occurred with Lily eating Gabe's flesh. That was definitely a bit much. The ending was kind of weird and a lot happened in a short amount of time. I liked where Gabe and Lily ended up overall though. I just wish you saw more of a change with both Gabe and Lily and some more redemption scenes instead of them just stating that they changed all of a sudden.

This is an entertaining & very enjoyable book to read & I found the plot extremely well-written & intriguing with good scene descriptions & world building. The characters are complex individuals with opposing personalities & good chemistry, in particular I was fascinated by their influences on each other as they continued to develop throughout the story-line. There is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a innocent but feisty young human female (Lily aka Sparrow) is abducted & mated against her will by a bad-tempered fae/vampire hybrid (Gabriel) & she is not too impressed with this situation or his attitude, a despicable vampire-viking consortium, fae corps, adventure, action, twists & turns, intrigue, drama, abduction, threats, danger, violence, assassination attempts, conflict, hatred, defiance, retaliation, disagreements, mates, confrontations, possessiveness, discipline, spankings, vulnerability, life-threatening incidents, surprises, contentment, love & a satisfying conclusion for this couple with a very interesting ending. I would recommend this book & look forward to the next one with great anticipation.

Lily and Gabriel are the best matched couple yet. How is that even possible when she is a human and he is a vampire/fae hybrid? I’m not even sure. This book has a little bit of everything in it and yet it worked seamlessly. The story picks up right at the end of the last book. Lily has been spirited away by Gabriel from her spectator position to a fight. He quickly goes from kidnapper to alphahole lover, as you probably expect him to. I think the action really ramped up in this addition to the series, which I liked. We also get to see some returning favorites and the stage is set nicely for more books in the series. Overall this was a great addition to the Fae’s Claim series and I am DYING for the next book in the series.

Laxmi you have done it again. Only this time, more angst and intensity and passion. You weave a great tale of passionate anger while also softening it with a love that Gabriel is trying to deny.

How he hates having to turn Lily but does it because he can’t do without her. But denies that he is feeling love. Lily fights her feelings too. The two are made for each other. It all builds to a happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.

With a dark and painful past, and his thirst for vengeance, Gabriel twisted a mission based in a need to help others to avoid his fate. He kidnapped a human woman and found himself lost in emotions and feelings that had him confused struggling with himself. Lily was overwhelmed by her feelings fighting to survive her strange situation with the Fae vampire. But the enemies were still there, lurking in the dark waiting to strike. Gabriel’s character was complex and disturbing with so much dark baggage that had me interested reading avidly to know what was behind. Enjoyed Charley, Rafael and Hawke’s characters that brought amusing scenes to the plot development. An intense and exciting story with very strong and conflicted emotions, distressing descriptions and narrations, action, suspense, violence and dark and heated passion.

When a sassy young lady has met her match in a supremely alpha male..... This book kept me on the edge of my seat and biting my lip. I loved the dynamic and character development between the main characters of Gabriel and Lily! This is the fourth book of the series and did not disappoint. I loved the prior three books and I was wondering if the fourth will do the series justice. It did. It surpassed my expectations and I loved it. Cheers to you Laxmi!

Lily and Gabriel left me Breathless!
“Knotted by the Fae” is everything I was hoping for and more. Lily and Gabriel are funny and intense, with explosive chemistry that burned up the pages from page one to the last page. As the drama unfolds you feel Lily’s confusion and desire. A raging tempest of surprising events and daunting circumstances takes you on one wild rollercoaster ride of non-stop action and drama as sparks fly between Lily and Gabriel. The intrigue and danger add more spice to this tale and takes it to a whole new level while keeping you riveted to the pages of this tale.

A journey to the core of darkness, dominance, and overwhelming passion. Lily and Gabriel's story is not for the weak, with the intensity of emotions, sizzling hot scenes, and clashing personalities. One stubborn, one mean, they meet each other in the middle, fighting the natural call of the mating bond, not willing to give up who they were but slowly transforming under the other one's influence into the person they are meant to be. Strong, fierce, passionate, and whole only with their mate at their side. But it's a long journey, turbulent and flimsy, full of twists and surprises. Gabriel's dominance is seeping through the pages, pushing the reader as far as Lily; yet if you make a stop and look closer, you can see the rays of his soul shining through the menace of his attitude. Lily, though tiny in comparison when it comes to her physical form, is equally strong, capable of holding herself up. Her instincts of survivor, mother, and female aware of the chemistry attacking her senses, lead her forward and help her overcome all obstacles, however hard. This is one hell of a ride, with limits pushed further than before, and extraordinary character development.

This story starts where the last left off with Gabriel taking Lily. She’s a human but even though he’s a vampire/ fae hybrid it’s not going to stop him. This story has action, intrigue, adventure and lots of romance as he has mated her against her wishes! But as he keeps trying to get her to bow down and do as he says it’s great! We get to hear from past couples from and it all makes for a fantastic read! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This book was addicting!
Gabriel gets on your nerves at times but he's also deliciously addicting. Lily was slightly annoying but feisty at the same time. They were perfect for each other!
The story does suck you in and you can't help but want to keep turning page after page. The ending was also perfect and fun to read! I am even tempted to read the next couple's story. Worth the read.

Gabriel and Lily are a great fit. They have an instant attraction and crazy chemistry. They quickly grow to love each other. There was a lot of growth from both of them in this book. Yes, there was a lot of steamy deliciousness, but their connection went deeper. This book keeps you on your toes and nothing happens like you’d expect. Quite enjoyable!

Knotted by the Fae (Fae's Claim # 4) will have you on edge right from page one to the very end. With heaps of adventure and unexpected twists seeping through the pages. Brimming with passion and sensual moments. Vividly detailed world building descriptions and settings. Characters are compelling with complex personalities. I love how we get a sliver of Gabriel's history. Supporting character's bring further kicks. I really loved Charley and Hawke too. The writing style is captivating and creative.
I absolutely adored the two epilogues as it just wrap-up Gabriel and Lily's romance perfectly. It ends in a way that exhuberates excitement for the next novel in this paranormal dark fae romance series.

Um... not sure what I was expecting, got some of it, and got none of it at the same time.
Was an interesting story, with an interesting premise, but there were so many questions left unanswered, the world building was extremely minimal, it was so focused on the 'hot and steamy sex' that I kinda just felt uncomfortable, and the main point/ antagonist I felt wasn't particularly clear or resolved by the end, and if that's a thing to be addressed in future novels, then that wasn't really made clear either.
I also just felt that the story lacked some proper editing, I was confused throughout the story, there were scenes where I was told one thing and then the characters were doing another, e.g. she's lying on her front on a table, and yet suddenly he's kissing her and I just... how? His face was in her crotch a second ago? Or they have some sex in the sky, but how? I don't understand the dynamics? There was no description as to HOW they were staying in the air, or just the fact I'm told she's on top of him, so he can 'take the weight off for her!?' And yet they're still in the sky but there's no more mention of him flapping his wings, and how does that work when he's supposedly on his back? Or how it could just ignore the fact the characters have just taken off the clothes and yet i want to know what happend to them? You've just let them fall to the ground far below for someone to just find a random dress floating down from the sky?
And other things like calling her nipples, teats? She's not a cow. Or she wants to stand up for herself, she's sick of being dropped from the sky, wants to stand up for herself, yet does nothing about that or mentions it again for the rest if the novel? Or that he literally strips off with a knife bits of his flesh and feeds it to her!?!?! Or how you lost her, ya think she's dead then cut to next scene and she's alive? How much time has passed since the last scene? And then he's There? With her, out of the blue? With no description as to how he found her? How he knew she was still alive?
There was constantly no inbetween action description. And a lot of scenes should have been extended for the fact that the readers will get lost without those descriptors in the sentences to lead you through the story. I couldn't keep up with the visual in my head, or place bodies in the setting around them because those weren't described in a way I could, and I'm impressed by those who can do that!
Overall it's a good story premise that made me pick it up in the first place, but it just needed some extra editing, thinking of the audience and those readers it's aimed towards to really become a more developed novel.

This is book 4 in the Fae's Claim series by Laxmi Hariharan and let me tell you, this lady can write. Her books are beyond good. I don't know if saying the books in the series so far are phenomenal is even doing them justice. I mean does that word "phenomenal" really do justice to how good this series is? Maybe if I put it all in caps. The one thing I can say is anyone who likes this genre and doesn't read this series is really missing out on an incredible reading experience. I'm going to put the link to my Amazon review of this book at the bottom of this review. You'll get some insight into what the book's about. Plus it puts you right where you need to be to get your copy.

well this series just got super dark!

I’ve read all previous books in this series and this book is super dark. Some parts are Very violent
Still great story, still well written great character development

But there was some super dark dark aggressive sometimes violence between FMC & H Wow some of it was hard to read. Trigger warning ⚠️ needed
Kidnapping of FMC, Dubious consent, forced consent, forced orgasm, blood fetish, body carving, flesh eating, mild abuse. redemption HEA
He (FAE VAMPIRE who suffered severe abuse torture & sodomy from his fae vampire father) so he steals a human under protection of FAE CORP. to use as leverage to get their help in shutting down the VIRGIN AUCTIONS
(I still don’t understand why F.CORP wouldn’t help) it’s kinda their job? Weird. Oh well. So basically while she finds him hot.. she tries to escape and he drops her from great heights while flying.. he hurts her over & over like this especially when the vamps attack and kill his adoptive mother he blames lily for surviving and he has to take her to Amelia to begin with because as a human she is so fragile and her hurt her lily needed to recover before he could enact his plan. And Amelia dies he blames lily so he forces her (Virgin) to perform smex acts very aggressively (dubious forced consent & forced orgasm) he treats her like trash but he is obsessed and in love with her so he punishes her for how she makes him “feel” he refuses to “feel” anything. So after she dies after another vampire attack, he “saves her” by turning her into a vampire.. then by feeding her his blood and flesh turns her into a fae as well. So no longer humane still on the run still help captive and still being (abuse loved) Stockholm syndrome completed. An old enemy attacks again, again again, can she survive can he love give her the love she craves desperately needs can they be each other’s family?
Great exciting read ….nonstop wall to wall action. In and out of sheets. But honestly the dark (dare I call it “romance”) was a bit much for me. But it was a severe emotional roller coaster with a blustery growly aggressive alphahole and there was redemption HEA

This is my favorite of this series so far. I really enjoyed this storyline the most as usual it flows flawlessly from book 3.

Gabriel seems to be one of the most complex characters thus far. He was excellently written and developed in this book. I was intrigued by him in book 3 and fell in love with the depth of his character throughout this story.

Lily was the perfect compliment to Gabriel. Though I do not think we actually met her in a previous book she was expertly crafted around her counterpart. Her character was smart and sharp as a whip I truly enjoyed watching her mind work.

This book had all the action, drama, Alpha-hole, romance balance that kept you turning the page and ended with no question left in your mind where they stood with one another, or where their future lay.

Want to know? Read the book well worth all 5 stars. A must read and a definite recommend.

By Lexi Hariharan. 5 Stars*****

Awesome and Energizing Read!!!
Sweet, Sexy and Scrumptious Indeed!

If you enjoying reading and fantasizing about Fae men, then man, this is gonna be a fun and intriguing book for you.

Gabrielle becomes a tad possessive when it comes to Lily, even if he doesnt quite understand why he is, lol. Seems Lily likes to drive him crazy though too..
Talk about a kidnapping going terribly wrong...
The readers are gonna fall in love with Gabrielle and Lily!!

Very spicy and violent, book 4 continues the Fae's Claim series with Lily and Gabriel's story. Gabriel, a fae vampire, kidnaps Lily to try and get the attention of the Fae Corps in stopping the virgin auctions. They have a strong attraction and have inklings they are mates but fight how they feel. Gabriel is quite mean to Lily, mostly to try and keep his distance from her but of course eventually gives in. If you have read the first 2 books, this one feels much the same...a lot of repetition, use of the same phrases over and over. Doesn't make sense that the Fae corps wouldn't want to end the virgin auctions.

I've read the other three books in the series and I've enjoyed them all. There are a lot if similarities when it comes to the guys not wanting to accept their mate and not being able to keep their hands to themselves but it's the meat of the story that makes it. This one is my favorite so far! There's a lot more to Lily than meets the eye. What Gabe does to get her through her transformation is wicked. At one point it's a total horror story romance, nothing grosses me out so I thought the Hannibal stuff was cool. It kept me on my toes, that's for sure.

An intense story that loves to take an Alphahole and show him what a mate really is. They never admit feeling anything but anger and revenge. Gabriel is no different. He takes what he wants. And it happens to be a beautiful human female. And Gabe is a vampire fae. Even he doesn’t really understand who he is. But he is all alpha. There are some very hot scenes with plenty of dominance. At times I just wanted to smack him. And Lily is not the type to take it. You have to love her sass.
