Artists & Billionaires #1-6

Artists & Billionaires Box Set

Rate this book
Six artistic friends find love in the most unexpected ways with some of the richest men in the country in this 6 volume set.
Mending Fences · The fence that brought them together now keeps them apart.
All Mandy wanted was a couple of photos. Instead, she has a broken foot, a bodyguard, and a crush on one of the most eligible businessmen in the country. Memories of a summer-long past complicate her resolve to forget about her handsome childhood friend Danny.

Mending Christmas · One shattered window. Two bruised hearts. And twelve days until Christmas.
Tessa Doyle’s semester in Europe left her a much wiser woman. But then she takes a job referral from her ex-boyfriend, and agrees to repair the stained-glass window, the last work she will need for her MFA. With a two-week deadline, she will have no time for anything else, especially men.

Mending Walls · One week in a Haitian orphanage changes Araceli’s world and her heart.
Araceli is searching for a way to make a difference. When an opportunity to volunteer on a service trip to a Haitian orphanage comes her way, she will do anything to go, including facing her childhood nemesis.

Mending Images · Posing as the billionaire’s fiancée can’t be more dangerous than her bodyguard day job.
Abbie Hastings has taken down men twice her size and guarded America’s most famous. Taking a job to guard a billionaire’s fiancée is nothing new until the prospective groom gets jilted, again.

Mending Words · City boy seeks small town romance with country girl chasing big city dreams.
An unexpected internship takes graphic designer Zoe Wilson to New York City. Experience has taught her that pouring her heart into her work is better than pinning her dreams on a man. Especially one her Art House friends think she should like.

Mending Hearts · Candace’s ten-year plan has two flaws, year eleven and Colin.
Everyone who meets Candace wearing one of her colorful wigs knows she is a cancer survivor. Determined to live life to the fullest, her accomplishments range from painting murals to convincing students on campus to give up drinking. Few people know the secret to her success includes a detailed ten-year plan and a bucket list full of check marks. Candace never dreamed she’d make it to year eleven.

Waking Lucy - I enjoy marriage of convenience stories, but this one was made all the sweeter by the fact that they already loved each other. They still had a lot to work through, especially Lucy with her past, but it was beautiful how they did it together. I love that Samuel took his father's advice and really listened to his wife, figuring out things without her having to say them. This was such a beautiful love story.

Reforming Elizabeth - I have enjoyed this Homespun series. The last book was actually the first one I read and then I had to start at the beginning. This book is a standalone, but I think you'd appreciate Elizabeth's character more if you read Awakening Lucy first. Elizabeth is really unlikable in the beginning, but stick with her. Her transformation is hard, but beautiful. I had a hard time putting it down. Gideon also has to go through his own transformation. I agree with another reviewer, this is more a story about Elizabeth's transformation than it is about the romance, but the romance is sweet. I also enjoy all the history in this series. Some of the things are hard to relate to and others are still apart of our world today.

Healing Sarah - This is the first book I've read in the American Homespun series. It is written as a standalone, but there were times when I wish I had read the others books so I could understand the family dynamics a little better, but it didn't deter from the story. Sarah is a strong wonderfully caring woman. She has a lot on her plate, but she continues to love and help others. Tim also has a big heart and is always there when needed. They are great together. This book touches on a lot of issues and is not a light read, but it is an enjoyable one.

Colonial America

I have not read about Colonial times in America in a long time. I am so glad I chose this book. The three books in this box set took place in the same area using many of the characters or their family members throughout the entire box set. I will be enjoying more books by Lorin Grace.
