About this ebook

To save the angel of death, will she have to make a pact with the angel of hell?

Ayla has enough on her hands without finding out she has acquired a supernatural allure that enthralls Callum. If he likes her, she wants it to be for herself, not because of magic. Her decisions have thrown her world into chaos and the Angel of Death is demanding she do something about it.

All Hell is about to break loose. And Ayla opens the gates. Everyone she holds dear is at risk and if Ayla can't close those gates, the entire community, maybe even the world will end in ruin. But does that mean she must make a pact with the devil himself?

Ayla is a reluctant reaper. She saved baby Nicki from Azrael, the Angel of Death, by having the demi-goddess Lilith enter her. Ayla finds out that every time she collects a soul, she also collects the ability of said soul. So when Nicki is kidnapped by Rory, a fae mancer and an unknown family member to Sarah. This 3rd book in the Reaper's Redemption series is full of action, some romance, and ends in a sort of cliffhanger (Depends on how one looks at it). Highly recommended. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Rise is the final book in in the Reapers Redemption trilogy. Where lots of questions that I had were answered about what transpired in book 2.. Ayla discovers secret about herself.. which isn't that surprising with what she can do. Sarah is super brave with powers that help Ayla save her friends but at a cost does she go through to save her friends? Callum is super supportive with all that he knows about himself.. and yes he has a secret about himself. Nikki is a special character.. created by powers she was the surprise at the end of book 2.. and I loved how she developed and what she did in the end. Throughout the story there are lots of surprises that I didn't see coming.. and the ending was the best ever.

Oh wow! That was just a phenomenal story! What a fitting ending for Ayla! I love what she becomes, it is so awesome! I loved the whole Nicki aspect of the story! I wonder if there was a touch of the Phoenix in her. This was such a good book and series! I absolutely loved it!

About the author

Thea is a NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY Bestselling Author. She used to have a black lab at her feet when she wrote, warming up the calves. It can be cold in rural Nova Scotia. Now it's just a cuppa tea keeping her warm.

Whether she's finding ways to lure Isabella Hush into the Shadow Bazaar or throwing the switch on a new monster, her urban fantasy pulses with dark themes, slow-burn but satisfying romance, and action-packed intrigue. Her characters are always deeply wounded creatures struggling for redemption. She's a huge fan of Patricia Briggs and Dannika Dark and hopes you'll enjoy slipping into the skin of the characters she's created.
