Publisher's summary

He doesn't just want the friendship or the benefits. He wants it all.

Rhett, the White House photographer, is tired of everyone treating him like he’s fragile. He wants a life of his own. Punch his V-card. A boyfriend.

Making new friends is a good first step, even if it’s with his boss, Calix, who’s 15 years his senior. Calix is kind and protective, and he encourages Rhett to spread his wings.

When Rhett stumbles, Calix is there to catch him, and what started as friendship, grows into a mutually beneficial arrangement. Friends with benefits. Kind of.

But Calix still mourns his dead husband, so what happens when Rhett wants to extend their arrangement...indefinitely? He doesn't just want the friendship or the benefits. He wants it all.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues, and the plot gets more and more complicated...and more dangerous. How far will the terrorists go to accomplish their goal?

Click is an MM romance with hurt/comfort, an age gap, a sweet virgin, and a friends-with-benefits arrangement. It’s the third book in the White House Men series, a romantic suspense series set in the White House, that needs to be listened to in order. Click ends with a happily ever after, but the suspense plot ends on a cliff-hanger and will be continued in the rest of the series.

📖 Story comment: Good pace and well written characters.
There are so many things I enjoyed about this book, especially the way the friendship between Calix and Rhett developed. I loved Rhett's character, that he was brave enough to discuss what he wanted with Calix, and understood Matthew would always have a place in Calix's heart.

🎧 Narrator comment: I enjoyed John Solo's narration and think he's done a good job narrating Click. Each character had their own voice and it was easy to tell them apart, he has good timing, inflections and intonations, and he did a great performance bringing the story to life.

Live Again

I like how very subtly the relationship builds between Rhett and Calix. They have a struggle to figure out what they are building. This story also has the ongoing elements of backstory of the bombing and assignation with more threats.
I listened to the audio version and it really add a layer of drama.

Narration and Story 5 stars

LOVED this narrator, really brought the emotional and spicy moments to life. The story and plot is already excellent and Solo's skill is the cherry and sprinkles on top of an already delicious Sundae.

Outstanding Story & Listen🎧 Riveting & Heartfelt!

I am loving this series, the characters amazing and the storylines are intriguing and entertaining. This is the third book, I highly recommend starting with the first book “Press” and follow that with “Friends”, each book does feature different lead characters but there is an ongoing storyline that continues in each book so it is best to read or listen to them in order. Besides each book is awesome and not to be missed. “Click” features Rhett Foles and Calix Musgrove, they’ve had reoccurring roles as secondary characters in the first two books and I was happy to hear they were getting their own book. Calix is President Shafer’s Chief of Staff and a good friend, Rhett is the White House photographer and Levar’s roommate and best friend. Both Calix and Rhett were at the Pride Day bombing in NY and their lives were forever changed from that day, Calix lost the love of his life and Rhett suffered from sever PTSD. He managed to get some photos, one being that of Calix holding fatally injured Matthew, a photo that captured the horror of the day as well as the heartbreak. Calix never thought he would love again, Rhett’s PTSD prevented him from living, these two broken souls found comfort in each other. I loved these two together, I thought they were perfect for each other, Calix is fifteen years older than Rhett but his life experience and maturity is just what Rhett wanted and needed. I loved how everything played out in this book, Calix and Rhett’s romance is beautifully plotted and there is some well thought out plotting going on with the the ongoing investigation, the plot thickens even more and the case is leading them closer to home. There is never a dull moment in this book, there is plenty of drama, some angst, more mystery and surprising twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, lots of heartfelt emotions and some hot romance. Nora Phoenix thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I loved every minute of it!

🎧📚🎧 John Solo continues to deliver an outstanding performance bringing these characters and their story to life. He gives each character their own distinct voice and personality which makes it easy to follow along and tell who is who. He has a complete understanding of the character he portrays, he owns each role sounding believable and just as I picture the characters to sound. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all the characters emotions and projects them into his performance. His delivery is flawless and the sound quality is amazing. He is a top notch narrator and an entertaining voice artist who is a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen!
