Publisher's summary

Monsters, magic, and mates I never knew existed.

Kia versus power pole isn't the end I expect - it's the beginning of...where do I begin? Four wildly sexy males. Powers I don't understand. And the eyes of the fae world on me as the person to unite the severed realms. No pressure.

This is book one in a steamy paranormal shifter romance series where the female main character doesn't have to choose. Expect polyamorous situations, rollicking action, ongoing storylines, and shifter lovers who find what they need from not only their queen but each other as well. Medium-burn, medium angst.

Great intro to the series!

This book was beautifully performed by Lia and Gabriel. I hung on every word as it played out and ended up binging it in one day. The characters are all quite different and I loved the dynamics of the different guys. Callie is a strong character who is dealing with a past filled with abuse and abandonment. I love her tough exterior, yet soft and squishy. Her guys come around her and complete her. Gabriel did a wonderful job of getting each guy's voice different an unique to their personality. Love this one!

Bears, wolves, jaguars, hawks and phoenixes oh my. Faes, orcs, and many other creatures abound in this gripping story. Rise of the Phoenix is the first book of this series and boy does it hook you from the start. Violence, suspense and a mating bond abound and I can't waif for more.

light and fun

I love how the finance is set up. Also when it's a reverse harem to many times does it revolve around sex. Don't get me wrong there is some in this book but the story is just as prominent. definitely buying the next one. I wanna see where it goes. I'm so intrigued by the fact that not all the potential of the characters is reached in book one.

Great Story & Narration🎧 Fascinating New Series!

I enjoyed this book immensely, it is a great start to a fascinating shifter reverse harem romance series. The story is original and imaginative with equally imaginative characters of supernatural and paranormal beings. The story drew me in right from the start and captivated my attention the entire times. The characters are nicely developed as is the world building, this first book lays down the foundation for what to come. We are introduced to the lead characters starting with Calli, who was on a mission of revenge when her car crashed and her life was forever changed. She started the day as ordinary human but was something out of the ordinary after that crash. Jaxx, a jaguar shifter found her at the scene of her accident and resurrection. Once she transformed he knew she was his, soon after the other shifters realize the same and go to her. Brant, a bear shifter, Nakotah, a wolf shifter, and Hawk the well off businessman, founder and CEO of the biggest Fae security corporation and a complete alphahole who wants nothing to do with Calli, he does not want to be tied to anyone but himself. It takes Calli awhile to get on board with this new her but she still does not give up on her plan to get those who took her friend away from her. But they stumble upon something even bigger going on amongst the supernatural. I liked how everything played out in this book, Calli’s rebirth, different shifter mates who are her guardians, one of whom is resistant to the whole plan. A plan we will find out more about as the series goes on. The story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, action, twists and turns, some angst, thrilling suspense, heartfelt and emotional moments and a steamy slow to medium burn reverse harem romance.

🎧📚🎧 Lia Holland and Gabriel Thorne are fabulously talented narrators and voice artists. They bring these characters to life, humanize them, give each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow and tell who is who.. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, they have a complete understanding of each role they play, sounding believable and just as I pictured they would sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and project them into their performance. These two entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the fabulous listen🎧

Great story with interesting characters. I like the variation in the quint. The narrator does a good job telling the story and I am looking forward to starting the next book in the series. I'm rooting for Hawk in the next book.

A Good Start

I’ve been looking at this book for months, but tend to dislike most books about the fae. So far, I’m really enjoying it. At one point my daughter came in and asked what was wrong. I was reading and crying. LOL. I’m off to read book two.
