Publisher's summary

Shane was fighting for his life. Now, he’s fighting for revenge....

After surviving the bloody ordeal of the Iron Tournament, retired marine and ghost hunter Shane Ryan is out for blood. He’s hot on the trail of Guthrie, the man who organized the supernatural fighting ring. And behind him lurks Lazarus, the sinister entity who draws power from the dead....

Shane’s search takes him north to the frozen wilderness of Canada. There, in a remote town nestled among the dark trees, Lazarus’ evil power has been unleashed. A host of spirits have been freed to stalk a nearby graveyard. And they inhabit the townsfolk, controlling them like ghastly puppets.

But as Shane and his allies battle these living dead, he quickly discovers the true depths of Lazarus’ evil. The dark spirit is using these servants to build a cathedral, a monument to his dark power.

And if this diabolical church is completed, Lazarus’ power will become impossible to contain....

And it just might be the end of the world as we know it.

Death by Ghost

When Shane Ryan was drawn into underground fighting that was going on between humans and ghosts he had no idea what he was truly getting involved in. But as the series continues, he is hunting Lazarus, trying to determine how he could absorb the ghosts, and grow stronger.
With a ghostly sidekick with a strange side, Shane searches for Lazarus but is tipped off about a town that was destroyed. Every person was killed by an invisible force, and Shane knows that somehow Lazarus is behind it.

How many times can we die?

This was an awesome book! How many times can we die? Apparently, more than once, and there's even something out there for ghosts to fear. Get your Shane Ryan fix with another installment, which always makes it worth it in the end anyway! Lots of violence, gore, and suspense! If you enjoyed book one, you will definitely enjoy this one too. Can't wait for the next book!

So, this book is awesome, I love all the Shane Ryan books and I've read them all - starting with the Moving In Series! This series is so unique and fun. You just can't tell where it will go. I think the narration is perfect. Thom Bowers is flawless ,even John's British that flows back and forth! I know you'll love this series ! Can't wait for the next.

Another twist

Thom Bowers did absolutely amazing narrating this book. He really adds to the experience of the book. Ian Fortey and Ron Ripley work incredible well together, and this book circles back around to what you normally expect from Ron Ripley's Shane Ryan books. I will admit that because of the way book 1 went I wasn't really expecting book 2 to go this way but it made this series even better. The twists and turns makes you come back for the next book. Amazing job by these two

Some Inconsistencies but great book

So I’ve been a follower of Shane Ryan since his inception. This is a great story but I had to knock off a few stars. In a previous series, Shane wasn’t able to determine is someone was possessed but in this series, he’s able to detect a person is possessed by seeing a hazy aura? Come on. The inconsistency is worrisome.

The Hunt For Lazarus Continues

Death’s Cathedral follows Shane Ryan’s exploits from Duel of the Damned right where it left off. The plot unfolds easily, swiftly, and never lets the readers attention wonder. The story is intense, fast paced, and doesn’t let up. As is the norm for these authors the characters are well written and strong. This story introduces a new character for us in the form of a quirky, friendly, and to Shane’s chagrin annoyingly helpful ghost named John who has the ability to see residual traces of Lazarus which is just the aid that Shane needs in his quest for answers. Great story! I have recommended Ron Ripley for his ghost stories and I will continue to recommend him and his team of writers at Scare Street for their superb storytelling skills. Thank you guys for the many hours of entertainment you have given to me.

Trip to Canada

I love Shane’s interactions with ghosts especially with John. Shane is trying to track down and destroy Guthrie and Lazarus (ring leaders of the Iron Tournament and evil ghosts). Jacinta continues to communicate with ghosts and is helping Shane in this book. Great book with good narration cannot wait for the Shadow King.

Ever think of walking away?

He survives the fight of his life to walk into this?will there be a way out this time? Or will this adventure lead to far from the path of light. Hold Shane’s hand as he wonders through a world he thought he knew.
