The wedding.

I’m in love with this series and I’m glad parkers daughter finally came around but seriously a whole big to do about this wedding and she got married in a ripped up dress probably covered in blood. I get it she didn’t want to wait but you could have had her change clothes or something. The book was great I was just excited about the big wedding .. stupid Dexter Hensley lol.

Maybe an HEA for Miranda and Parker??

This story revolves around a case involving CoCo’s ex...as well as Miranda’s officially passing the private investigator exam...oh, and possibly a wedding. Lots of action and drama...this IS Miranda we’re talking about!! Looking forward to the next book!

Love it.

I love the Miranda / Parker books. Have read them all and now working my way through the audio books. Kristin James does a great job on the audio books and Linsey Lanier did an awesome job on the books. I love them all.

Mediocre ripoff of Roarke and Eve Dallas story

Readers of JD Robb’s In Death series will recognize the tropes: the gorgeous millionaire with the sexy accent who could have anyone trying to get the fiesty, gruff, unfeminine, troubled investigator/ass-kicker to commit; soothing her nightmares and helping figure out and fight her abusive past; all the delicious food he hooks her with and a favorite food he gets her all the time; a bubbly singer friend whom she rescued, his horrified and disapproving family member who is forced to plan the wedding, her giving back his jewelry gift when asked to commit, fight right before her wedding day, her occasional thoughts of not being good enough for him, house so big there are rooms she hasn’t been in, etc. Yes, there are enough situational differences to avoid copyright infringement, but it’s still a not-as-good attempt at the same Eve and Roarke story (at least the first several books) in a different context. Highly unoriginal. If you have not read the in Death series, give it a try you’ll like it much better and it’s a much longer series.
