Publisher's summary

A deadly whisper....

Reeling from the terrors at Fort Wayward, all Benton wants to do is enjoy some peace with his new companion, Nicole. But everything changes in one horrific night with a single, unworldly whisper.

A malicious force now prowls the town unlike anything Benton has ever encountered. It remains hidden in broad daylight. It moves without making a sound. It kills by simply whispering its victim’s name.

Benton’s world unravels once again. He discovers that not only can this monster hunt Benton in reality, but also in his dreams. Severed from his ability to see through the eyes of a killer, Benton is unable to discover who’s next to die. But there’s no doubt that the hunt is on.

The duo is determined to save the residents of Fort Wayward. But they struggle to find a way to stop the demon. Time is running out.

It won’t be long before the demon discovers Benton’s name. And whispers him straight to his grave.

Scary!!

Benton gets a feeling about a the death of a girl. Nicole knows her and goes to talk to her, but something attacks her then and there. Benton sees what attacks her but he can't believe it, it's something without a head. Something is taking peoples hearts and killing them with only a whisper and Benton isn't able to see the victims. This something can hurt Benton both in this world and in his dreams. What is it and why is it here?

I loved book 1 and eagerly dived into this one when I got it. This starts with a bang and doesn't let up till the end. It's darker and scarier than the first and I loved it!! The plot is tighter than the last and is incredibly fast paced. I listened to this in one day because I couldn't put it aside.

Benton and Nicole have come a long way since the first book and have become stronger characters. Nicole isn't as annoying as she was in book 1 and Benton is learning to live with what he is. They are facing something sinister and I loved seeing them work together.

In all, book 2 is even better than the first. It's fast paced, scary and gripping and I definitely need the next book ASAP. Hopefully it will come to audio soon.

I can't find fault with Jake Urrys' performance!! He brought me into the story from the first sentence and brought the book alive with his inflections and cadences. He is a narrator I highly recommend and I hope he narrates all these books. Brilliant performance by a brilliant narrator.

I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts.

Book 2 in the Banshee Seried

This is Banshee series book number two. It is so much better than book number one and I thought it was good. You have believable and interesting characters along with a dead girl without a heart. The storyline is getting captivating and it seems every page gets better. Benton continues with nightmares. You will not want to put this book down. Jake Urry is the Narrator and does an amazing job with narration. You will enjoy this book.

Book 2 in the Banshee series.

I am very impressed with Sara Clancy’s ability to keep the creepiness level elevated. To often, the antagonist become sedate and bland, but she has managed to keep it scary. Awesome job.

Jake Urry does an outstanding job as usual.

I requested a free review copy of this audiobook and I am leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Awesome Series!

This second installment of the Banshee Series brings back favorite characters. While I thought I loved it when I read this series, having the audible version makes it so much better. Especially the ability to keep on going while prepping dinner, driving, or listening while working on a crafting project. I can't wait to listen to the next one in this series.

NOTE: I now own the Entire Banshee Series Box Set and can keep going from one to the next in line. ;-)

There aren’t enough words

There aren’t enough words to begin to describe how perfectly this books follows the last. The story is outrageously engaging, the narrator is amazing. He has a very Vincent Price vibe to his speech and cadence that pulls you in even deeper. I can not wait for the next book. Which by the way I’m starting as soon as I submit this. Buckle up buttercups, I’m pretty sure this rides going to continue to be an exciting one!
